How come no CDR or Rush? Do they not measure everyone in Orlando?</div>
CDR and Rush aren't super athletes so this can only hurt their draft stock.

Smart move.
</div>

Not really a smart move. They'll still get measured at private workouts, so it's moot.

Not bench press and all that though.

I think this really helps Eric Gordon.

His great length and terrific body more than offset his lack of height.

The ability to take contact over several seasons and post up smaller players will be a HUGE factor in where he is drafted.

He's not just a great athlete, but he's 222 pounds of muscle and pure power. Combine that with his great stroke and his explosiveness and you have a guy who will rise on draft day - very unusual for 6'3" shooting guards.

I'd probably take him over Bayless, but Seattle won't because Bayless is an elite athlete with the image they are looking for to go with Durant.

In one of the various articles I read today is something interesting about Beasley. There were worries that even though he was listed from 6'9"-6'10" coming into camp he looks like we might measure out to be about 6'7". If this is the case what do you think are the chances that Miami uses this as another reason to swing in favor or Mayo at the #2 pick. If it shows that he is 6'7" does he get shifted to the SF position on many team boards? How happy would Minnesota be if Beasley fell to them?</div>
Imo if Beasley goes #1 the Heat might take Mayo over Rose but if Beasley isn't taken #1 I don't see him falling past #2.
</div>

Quite the opposite. The Heat are reportedly enamored with Rose, and would jump at the chance to pick him at #2, but could actually pass on Beasley and opt for Mayo if Rose goes to Chicago.

As the days go on, I'm more and more wanting Minnesota to get Mayo. But of course I won't complain is Beasley happens to fall on our lap

Question to all Nets fans... If Gordon is available when its our turn... and so is Jordan/Randolph/ Love/ Arthur
Do you take Gordon OVER all of them even though we NEED a stud big man?

I seriously doubt that Gordon will last til the #10 pick...very seriously. But after Jordan's number's at pre-draft, I know I wouldn't pick him. I'd go with Love and that is only if he's still there...I don't see him getting past the Bobcats at #8. With Brown there he would go with Love who is more established in college and more NBA ready than going with Randolph or Arthur

I'd pick Gordon (even though the chances of him falling to 10th are extremely slim), and see what I can get for him, RJ and the #21 on the market on draft day. Could be interesting.

That would be interesting. maybe Melo & Camby ?

Yeah, it's called a smokescreen. I've read that when the Heat went to go watch Rose workout.. they ended up in aww of Mayo. Imo Beasley is without a doubt their first choice and after that it's a toss up.

You could be right, you can never know with these things. It's obvious that the Heat love Mayo, the question is whether they love Beasley as well.

All I know is that I'm happy with the fact that Lopez didn't have a great showing and now maybe Mchale will get that wild hair outta his ass that would have him picking Lopez over Mayo...I would be so mad if Minnesota did that.

Huh? I don't think there's any question that the Heat love Beasley. He was the best player in college and he fits their needs perfectly.

Talent isn't everything, you know. Plenty of players have dropped spots in the draft because of attitude problems. I'm not saying Beasley HAS attitude problems serious enough to make him drop, but maybe Pat Riley thinks he does.

true, true...Pat is talking Playoffs and the last thing he want's to do is feel like a babysitter

with the #2 pick your talking about being able to add a Brand or Melo to pair with Wade and Marion. They have contracts to add to the pick and make it work. It's gonna be interesting

"Pudding Pop"!!!
