Melo traded to OKC

Carmelo is just a dumb Nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnincopoop!

Got to say: mad props to Sam Presti. One of his few black marks was giving Kanter that monster contract, and now he's dumped it for a shorter one.

Westbrook did not hide his disdain for Kanter when he did not play D. I wonder how that will work with Melo?
Paul George was a great pick up for OKC. This move was OK as they did not give up much for Melo. But doesn't George want to be the man when the game is on the line? This is a one year experiment in OKC.

Who's left out there for us to get mad about when they go to some other team?

Got to say, I don't envy Billy Donovan.

Knicks can never have too much depth at C.

Hernangomez
Noah
Kanter
O'Quinn

My only question now, how badly is CF losing its shit?

Rockets vs. OKC is going to be the biggest collection of stars competing to watch Golden State and San Antonio play in the West Finals.

They're upset because they didn't think Melo made us better than them. They know OKC is better than them. Also it's a flashback to Bosh.

NYK paying Noah and Kanter $36 million a year to back up Hernangomez. Congratulations Scott Perry, you just doubled down on the worst bet your predecessor made.

You also traded Carmelo Anthony and didn't get a single starter in return.

Well I'm very relieved that at least we'll have Harkless at SF. Whew!
Now let's see if we can trade Turner at some point this season. Who needs a SG/SF?

We could have had a summer of acquiring PG13 and Melo..... but because of Kevin Fucking Pritchard, the Thunder are now probably the second best team in the west.

I feel like this dark cloud has been lifted off my shoulders from this summer of unknown. I was intrigued about Melo but extremely hesitant about giving up on Harkless.

How low is Portland on the totem pole of NBA cities when Oklahoma is ahead of them? Yes I know they have Westbrook and George for the year.

Whew! So relieved we will have a team with no real chance to contend!

It's not the destination, it's the team. Only when we get to the WCF will other players want to come here. Until then, playing with a player who just had a year like Westbrook did will always be more appealing than playing for a one-and-done Playoff team.

But at least we retained assets so we can make better trades in the future. Rather than spending those assets to still not have a chance to contend.
