Interesting last name, we have Belushi in Albania, lot of them moved to Italy during 1400s (and later) when Ottoman Empire took over the area, and somehow I think there's a connection with this guy. lol

Yes, there is. In Brazil we had a very big italian immigration as well. It was more recent, started in 1800's and today we have 25 million Italian descendants in our country.

You can find any kind of last name you want here. Japanese, Portuguese, Italian, African, Lebanese, German and the list just goes on and on.

Yep. Part of the reason is that in Brazil the Portuguese approach was pretty different from the English in USA. They had no problem having sex with the natives and africans for example.

Verdasco triumphs on home soil, wins Barcelona Open

Spaniard Fernando Verdasco capped a perfect week in Barcelona with a final win over Swede Robin Soderling to claim the 2010 Barcelona Open Banco Sabadell, an ATP World Tour 500 event.

Verdasco opened the match on a bright note and broke Soderling's serve early on to claim the opening set by 6 games to 3. The second set saw a shift in momentum when the Swede found ways to break Verdasco's serve and level the match at one set a piece.

The decider turned out to be a showcase of Verdasco's shotmaking abilities as the home favourite raced to a formidable 4-1 lead and soon wrapped up the match with a 6-3, 4-6, 6-3 scoreline in two hours and 4 minutes of play.
