Bosh is a HoF and in his prime in Toronto he couldn't take the Raptors to the playoffs in a very very weak east at the time. I'm not convinced we need to move on yet, we were fine last year it was only this year that we really started to stink and i'm willing to give them at least a little more time together unless a to good to pass up deal heads our way.

But what if you had 2 Bosh-like players and were still just a few games from being a Top-5 Lottery team?

I love them both but I don't think it will work. You have to part with either Lillard or McCollum eventually. Blazers taking calls for Lillard and turning down a CJ for Drummond deal might tell you Neil and Paul's choice?

You know for all the bashing you take on this forum, there are times you deserve it.

Still irked someone took him away from GSW so Durant could sign... then they just trade him. Geez.
well he is an expiring and Dallas is crappy and Bos badly need a big who can rebound/defend. Mavs likely get some kinda pick so its a good move for them

That makes it even worse. Let him be an expiring for GSW. Don't help them become MORE of a super team. lol.

In the least surprising trade deadline update ever...

"Don't be surprised if Portland ends up with 4 first round draft picks."

Marc stein is the Will Perdue to Woj' Michael Jordan.

He might as well tweet about dumbass man city.

They did have a fringe AS caliber guard in Jose Calderon, how weird is it that 11/9 and 40% from 3 was a fringe AS for a PG 7 years ago and now it would get overlooked and not even mentioned, and Bosh wasn't just an offensive juggernaut but a damn good defensive one as well. This is a team game and unless you have an all time great then two players putting in gaudy numbers won't take you to the playoffs when the other 7 rotation players on the team are underwhelming and not playing great.

wondering if longer this goes the greater chance we might have to get someone like Okafor, Philly waitng/hoping for better offers and then settles for what it can get?

Boston plus Paul George could be very, very good.

I agree. I would imagine that what we offered Philly originally is still available. Unless it was Plums, but why would Philly want Plums when their goal is to get rid of one of their 3 soon to be expensive young centers. If no one offers more ,we should still be able to make it happen.
