Exactly.closer to floor? don't think so as Ersans and Tiagos salaries are very close
Getting to the floor, does save them money. Say Philly takes Ezeli. They get the credit on the cap calculations of paying him $8M when they only spend $2M on him in real cash. They save about $5-6M on a trade like that.I doubt he plays either....but getting close to the floor doesn't save them money. They just have to pay it out to the players on the roster.
Maybe they are trying to make room for Crabbe, Leonard and Ezeli for Okafor.![]()
