It's hilarious that so many of you think Nurkic is some huge get lol...based on one performance in a blowout. Had you ever seen him play prior to his Blazer debut? Honest.
Yes. People have been talking about Nurkic for a while. He had a very solid rookie season.
(Besides: we got a first rounder in a stacked draft.)
Yes, the team is disappointing so we want big changes. Welcome to most teams in the NBA. The Nurkic trade was more than most teams did.

Still not a fan of Olshey, but no point in whining in this case.

Crabbe's deal is one of the main reasons we're going to be way over the tax line next year. The belief is that if we weren't already projected to be well over the tax line, we would have been more willing to deal for a player like Noel who is in line for a big payday this summer.

Yeah I just don't think that it is very accurate. It has been written by the national media that Crabbe can be dumped for basically nothing. (2nd rounder etc) So if we really wanted Noel, PA would have no problem telling Neil to do it and to dump Crabbe by the time we need to pay Noel.

Think the well dried up for first round picks.

Bet they thought either could fetch a first rounder after jettisoning the one in the Mason Plumlee trade. Probably regretting that deal now.

You know how dumb it would be to dump Crabbe who has some talent on a huge contract for nothing after paying him that absurd contract?

Been trying to tell everybody Nerlens the whole time and it didn't take shit to get him. You want your defensive big there he fucking was but we were too busy dealing with Olsheys summer fuck ups with Ezeli trying to shed him.
yup

Heaven forbid people are upset with this dumpster fire of a team
There is a lot to be upset with and I understand this is one of those things, but it isn't like we twiddled our thumbs completely. Nurkic could be a nice get plus we added another first rounder. I'd say maybe depending on how draft day goes if nothing happens/we draft poorly than unleash hell. For now relax and have fun :)

You said like 3 days ago that you were going to lose Your shit (even though you don't get too high or low in your words). And you were right I guess. I just don't see it as worth of getting so salty. Breathe.
I don't understand why people can't voice their displeasure on this board without people sitting there like "Dude. Breath. You're too low. It's not worth getting so salty about."

I'm voicing my displeasure, and you don't agree. That's okay. Doesn't mean Im that worked up about it.

What I actually said was I'm not gonna care about wins and losses anymore.

PJ Tucker on his way back to Toronto, who drafted him about twenty years ago.

LeBron stopper. Championship confirmed.

I am upset with it but you don't panic and do more stupid things. The Nurk deal got us another pick and player who has potential. Looks at the trades that happened, besides Noel there was not much that went down
Cousins
McDermott
Gibson
Ibaka

You just said how stupid we were for matching. Now you are saying it is stupid not to dump him if we want someone else instead?
We lose nothing by matching Brooklyn, as long as we can get out if it. And I still believe we can.

Suppose he did - who wants him?

-Lebron wanted a playmaker and he has Gilbert by the balls.
-Chicago has awful management, doesn't want to rebuild, but wants to get better. Turner is from Chicago and we can trade him for Rondo who has a shorter terrible contract.
-Boston still likes him.
-You have other teams in the league with 2-3 bad 6 million per year players, i rather split Turner's horrible contract up.

agree, our summer binge is/was a big time anchor
You're right on there. I think most of us understood that fact.
However, there was a loud vocal minority that was hell bent on applauding the moves last summer.... endless argument that it's much more beneficial to be way above the cap so you have contracts to trade. I hope they are seeing that overpaying for players is not beneficial to the team.

I'm just saying man, people don't understand how bad Olsheys fuck ups in the summer have hurt us all because he couldn't let his draft picks get away in Meyers and Crabbe specifically and overpaying for Turner. I don't know what else they tried but it seems we just wanted to get rid of Ezeli. The defensive big you needed was sitting there all along at 22 years old and people like me and others here have been wanting that trade for months but whatever make up for it in the draft. I just absolutely despise Meyers, the Crabbe decision, he is inconsistent. I just don't know anymore. Never know what this organization will do

Never said to dump Crabbe. I am saying paying him that amount of money has fucked us. Fact

Travis Demers is on the 620am right now still making that claim.
