its still a better return than we got for LaMarsha
He is under contract for 1.5 more seasons correct?I think this was a good move for Sacramento. They obviously made the choice to not pay him max because of all his bullshit. So then it comes down to who wants to trade a bunch of assets for likely a half season rental. No way would he resign here so anyone wanting to trade CJ, or Crabbe and two firsts for a half season rental would not make a very good GM.
yeah, I thought he was a free agent this summer too. Next year he isHe is under contract for 1.5 more seasons correct?
Obviously we could but decided not to, hopefully this means we have a realistic deal in mind for someone more sure and reliable like two guys with two years left on their contracts, George and Butler.Wow. We really couldn't put together a better package?
What a disappointment.

lamarsha was going to break all our records and retire a blazerCousins was on record saying he was going to resign for this big pay day. There was no drama. The Kings got impatient on their rebuild.

Except the Kings will fall below us for sure; in fact they will be aiming for # 1.This move should mean we don't make the playoffs and get a better pick for sure
Exactly. Its all in the eye of the beholder. People calling hield a bust are hilarious. Dude won multiple college poty awards and has only played over half a season i the nba.
Hield still is an unknown as he hasnt even been in the league one year. And has 3 cheap years left. We have no one as highly touted other than dame or cj.
People will generally pick the unknown (hield) with still major potential over the more known even if it has some potential too.
Teams don't want him. Head case, thought of negativelyI am wondering if Sac actually tried to get a lot more, and every team in the NBA refused to offer much in return.
The Lakers refused to give up Ingram....for the greatest center in the NBA...........
What do they all know?
