Sorry I just cant share the same hatred. any antimosity i harbor towards the Lakers is multiplied a hundred fold by my hatred for KG and Lebron.

Why LeBron? I know a lot of Blazers fans hate Garnett for his trash talking/mocking, exemplified by his doggy-style act. ;) Personally, KG is one of my favourite players. I just have always loved his game.
 
LeBron has become a jerk, but his game is so amazing, I can't help but respect him!

Lebron just to me has bought way to much into his own hype for my liking. I'm not talking about him as a player, because he is amazing. But it all started around Olympics redeem team time. I would watch him bitch and moan after every call seemingly. He just became to much of a whiner, and buying into his hype. I cant stand the dude. And KG I started hating during the 08 finals. I remember rooting for the Celtics, but after it I felt the only guy on that team I didnt dislike was Ray Allen.
 
My ultimate dream is having the Lakers win it all on BOS home court.....please!
 
I really detest garnett and pierce is right up there as well, but chodie and the smogshow are despicable beyond rational explanation... I can't even watch the frickin' l*kers play unless they're behind by 8 or 10 points, and even then it's dicey. That made game 6 in 2008 so delectable; extended joy for the final 2.5 quarters of the elimination game...

I guess I'm a Celtics fan by default; the enemy of my enemy is my friend, so to speak...
 
Are you guys watching this? Ray Allen hit his first 7 threes and has 27 pts at halftime. One of the great Finals performances of all time. He broke Jordan's record from that 92 game against us.
 
All right! So far, not bad... Minimal garnett time, and the green team leads...

I don't get it. Why was there an extra day between Games 1 & 2 - both in LA - yet game 3 (in Boston) is on Tuesday?

In other words, why wasn't Game 2 played on Saturday, as to give the players an extra day's rest going cross-country?

pretty sure they want games on sunday instead of saturdays...

It's all about ABC's schedule, not the NBA's.

Fleecing Kobe and the from-behind block on Fisher were classics. To be honest, so was Doc's timeout to save the 8-second call.
 
Fisher can not go a whole series on Ray Allen. Phil has always insisted on Derek though, our biggest flaw.

No clue how we eventually pull this out, I don't think we're as tested as Boston.

when is LA going to address the PG position? they don't have a backup to take over for fisher either after this year

Yeah that is a big failure on the GM's/Phil's part. Fish is given too much leeway because of his "clutch" rep, and other credentials. He's just atrocious really.

I also wouldn't have saved Kobe with the 5 fouls like that. My feeling is that a player like him might be able to play through it. Coaches act like only the fourth quarter counts.

do they think shannon brown is going to be a starter next year?

yeah, they could've played him but what if he does foul out? of course the outcome is probably the same as it as now so they could have risked it.
