Re: What a bunch of...

I see him standing there talking to Stuart Scott and all I can think of is.....................................rapist.

Like the three point play to start the quarter where Glen Davis didn't even touch Gasol? Or what about the call on Garnett after Gasol threw up an airball against the shot clock. Not to mention the 8 second violation that wasn't reviewed, instead, more Laker FT's.

For someone who was pointing fingers and calling people blind, you sure are oblivious to this rig job.

Naw, I'm just not blinded by Laker hatred. All you homers crack me up.

BEAT LA BEAT LA

Jerry Bus just ruined THAT trophy presentation, him and stewart scott standing in the middle of the screen. Lakers fans suck

But I do finally agree with a Laker Magic Johnson that Phil is the best coach in the world and Kobe is the best player. That's the only compliment I can give

In defense of bad officiating, the Celtics got 38 Fts, to the Lakers 10 in Game 2 of the 2008 Finals.

Leon Powe had 13 FTs in just over a quarter that game.

Re: BEAT LA BEAT LA

Unless LeBron/Bosh/Wade (two of the three) team up together next year, I honestly don't see what is stopping the Lakers from three-peating next year, as much as I hate to think it.

Bus did suck, and so do Laker fans. But the Lakers were the best team this whole series, and Kobe was the best player through out the series. It will be interesting to see where Jackson ends up after this season.

A healthy Blazers Roster!!!

Injuries.

LA's a bit old I'd say.

I believe that this is a valid statement, I truely do. But then this a HUGE IF, having a healthy roster. Roy, Oden, even Camby and Pryzbilla have some big time injury concerns. We just all have to hope for the best!

There is no defense for bad officiating.

Why am I not surprised to see a Laker fan bring up such an odd entity?

There's going to be bad officiating, you should appreciate that I would even admit it. A normal Laker fan wouldn't.

If Boston had the benefit of certain calls, I should see the same people complaining about it. Usually life evens out for these NBA superstars.

HE MISSED 16 FUCKING SHOTS! He played a horrific, selfish game.

He missed EIGHTEEN shots. He only made 6 shots. In the end, the refs picked their favorite team and sent them to the line all quarter long.

Here's the gap between the Lakers and the Blazers this year:

|............................................|

Here's the gap between the Lakers and the Blazers when the Blazers are fully healthy:

|.........................|

It gets better, but this team still has a ways to go in terms of solidifying their roster and getting over against the 'playoff Lakers' (which I think is a vastly different animal than the 'regular season' Lakers)

I really do to. Some coaching improvements needed, but I believe Roy, LA, and Oden is healthy is just as good a starting unit as either of these teams, and the current Blazer bench is better than anything the celtics or lakers have to offer.

Yeah, plus our coach would only kill us, not help against the Lakers.

Re: BEAT LA BEAT LA

The Lakers won't have injury issues. They aren't that unlucky.

They were unlucky with injuries in 2008 you could say (The Celtics earned it though). The league is wide open next year.

There is one part missing, though. Our defense is not up to the Lakers or Celtics level and that will hurt us (I guess our coaching as a whole when on offense and defense).

Re: BEAT LA BEAT LA

The Blazers have the young talent to make a run, imo.

You're right. I thought it was 6-22. It was 6-24!

25% FG = MVP. Amazing.

Nice job, quick to drop the "homer" cop out, yet you don't even attempt the debate any of my points.

*golf clap*

The Lakers shot 51 more FT's over the series and shot only 3 less FT's in Game 7 than the Celtics shot in Game 5, 6 and 7 combined.

It's really easy to get 23 Offensive Rebounds when you're going over the back the entire game.

You forgot about Gasol's shot that should've been traveling. It sucks because the refs let them play for three quarters and then just decided to send the Lakers to the free-throw line throughout the fourth. It ruined the game.

Which obviously means she wasn't raped. Because you know, a woman who has sex with more than 1 man in a short period of time can never be raped.
