I've been playing mycareer a lot but haven't had time lately. This game is very addicting!!

It will be 2k18. They decided not to release 2k17.

I'm now having some fun with 76ers and Knicks. Knicks are awesome with Smith/Monk/Wiggins/Porzingis/Drummond rotation which I've managed to build... but I have Fultz/Monk/Simmons/Porzingis/Embiid at 76ers and I boosted Simmons jump shot (assuming he will have improved that significantly instead of having slow linear progress and never getting there).

I am big into Myteam and career is fun but for whatever reason spending more money in Myteam has always been my thing. It's for sure a great game for basketball fans. Physics are on point but more work can be done. Stay away from NBA live. the animations and physics in that game are BAD.
 
EmbraceThePace is releasing an updated roster everyday now, it includes all rookies, trades and will include free agent acquisitions. Looking forward to starting a new game with Blazers next week, feel like I've overpowered Swanigan and Collins and it's not fun.

Gonna stick with my Knicks save for now... I started second season, I got no. 7 (own) and no. 14 (from Denver for Rose) picks in the draft and bought no. 27 and 28 for future picks. I got Monk at 7, Smith at 14, Adebayo at 27 and Ferguson at 28. Also I traded Anthony and 2018 first round pick to Minnesota for Wiggins and Rubio (lopsided trade but the game accepted it), then flipped Rubio, Lance Thomas and 2020 pick to Detroit for Drummond. I managed to get rid of Noah and also acquire George Hill, Marco Belinelli and Marvin Williams through free agency, and traded little young pieces for Terrence Ross. Now I'm playing:

George Hill 30 / Dennis Smith 18
Malik Monk 30 / Terrance Ferguson 18
Andrew Wiggins 32 / Terrence Ross 16
Kristaps Porzingis 36 / Bam Adebayo 12
Andre Drummond 36 / Kyle O'Quinn 12

Looking to get some value for Hernangomez as he doesn't fit in this team. If I could get a good power forward or shooting guard for him, so I don't have to develop Adebayo or Ferguson in their first season, I'll be all for it. I enjoy playing in NYC.

Yeah pro is fun to play every once in awhile, but i like to play on the hardest difficulty. If i can start owning the computer on the hardest difficulty then it makes me ready to start destroying fools online.

Tbh the only way i really like playing those games is by simming the season in a franchise mode and doing all the gm stuff or playing against an actual person online.

I haven't had much time lately to play but a couple years ago I was playing against a young teenage kid and got up on him by about 40, dude starts saying "ah man how is this guy beating me he isn't even that good" or the time someone sent me a psn message saying I ruin online mode for everyone by the way I play.

Hilarious. Makes me chuckle when people get so butthurt about nba2k.

He really plays on pro level? I thought he was trolling like usual when he said he plays on default.
You don't even need good players for default level. You can literally cut everyone, sign players with 50 overall and win every game.

Hold down L1 (left button) if you press the R Trigger it will change sides. If you press the R1 it will change from pick and roll to pick and pop (fade).

Edit:

Also, you can call for a pick from any player.

Press the L1 button once to put the Icons above the players heads. Then hold down one of the buttons and that player will set the pick. So for Playstation:

Circle = SG
Square = SF
Triangle = PF
L1 = C

Sometimes I'll bring the ball to the top of the key and run an ISO so everyone clears, and then run a pick and roll/pop. This gives you space.

This is when I'm freelancing. I like to run a lot of set plays where CJ and Dame both run off picks. Turner is my Point Forward when I'm doing that.

I also run a bit of high post through Nurk and send cutters.

My starters are:

Dame
CJ
Turner
Vonleh
Nurkic

I did my own player edits and Nurkic is an 84 overall.

I'm having great MyLeague save with 76ers. Simulated until after 2019 draft so that my players develop. I got Fultz 92 / Doncic 83 / Simmons 93 / Cousins 93 / Embiid 95 which is mental, then Sexton, Williamson, Langford and Sarič coming off the bench. It's even a bit too easy. Simmons can even knock 3s, and the pace of the game is incredible. Fultz is also absolutelt fantastic.

I think I will start a save with Timberwolves. Should be extremely fun to play with now. Towns is one of the most fun players in this game and so is Butler, and as far as second/third tier point guards go I like Teague a lot although I might try to trade for Irving and move Butler to SF, Teague to SG.

I like to control all 30 teams and simulate moves that I think could happen. I do what I think is best for all teams and make trades that I think are a win-win for both.

It's way to easy to do well in MyLeague. Too easy to sign free agents and trade for high draft picks. There's no cap holds for FAs with Bird Rights either.
 
Dame & CJ have missed a lot of games but I picked up Nate Robinson. He and Napier held down the fort. Napier has the All Time NBA record for steals in a game: 16.
