Considering I'm going to start camping out for tickets at Reser on Friday night -- if Oregon State ends up losing I'm going to send an invoice to Chip demanding I get a refund for having all that time wasted due to his team winning.

 please do... I would hope he would send you back an envelope of rose petals though ;)

Ahmad Rashad's (Bobby Moore) Civil War history: Injured for two, benched for one.

Bummer, dude.

i was just looking at tickets on craigslist, just for interest...and damn tickets are expensive!! man if you bought say 4 when tickets went on sale, and sold 2 of them now....youd be making quite the profit

I got my 2 tickets at face value. 70 bucks each. Very tempting to sell them, but I just have to go. I think we're going to give the Ducks a good Rodgering.

An interesting fact that I don't think most know.

The stadium, designed by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, was built within an artificial crater to eliminate the need for multilevel ramps. As a result, construction took just nine months and cost approximately $2.5 million. $250,000 was contributed by the Autzen Foundation, headed by Portland lumberman Thomas J. Autzen, for whom the stadium was named.[4] Thomas J. Autzen is actually an alumnus of Oregon State University. His donation to the University of Oregon is linked to his son's attendance at the school during the late 1930s and early 1940s.

Pretty funny that not only did the University have to rely on a Beaver to fund their stadium, but that they also named it after a Beaver. That is great.

Well, they can probably use the excuse that they named it after his son, maybe? Unless it is Thomas J. Autzen stadium. But that is really funny.

I thought of going to the game, but opted to have some baby back ribs at ABM's palatial estate, watching the game on his 52" plasma tv.

Oh we've seen his TV..bastard.

I can only imagine what his swanky palatial estate looks like with the 6 pools, 4 cabanas, and the "waitresses" in abundance.

I'll be here with my small, non-HDTV screen trying to make out the players names. Heck, I probably won't be able to figure out who won until I read about it online the next day.

GO BEAVERS!

I'm obviously hoping for a Beaver win, but wont be too suprised if we dont pull of the upset. Beavs will need to play a perfect game in order to win @ Autzen tonight.

GO BEAVERS!

I hope for a great game and if you guys pull of the win.. I'll be rooting for you guys in Pasadena! But I would more than gladly go for you guys at Vegas as well ;)

+1

Unlike some others, though, I still think 2000 was a much bigger Civil War game. Both teams were ranked higher and a true BCS bowl was on the line.

I just think it's a great thing for the state. I hope everyone in AZ, CA and WA are watching the Civil War pissed off that we've monopolized the Rose Bowl this year.
