Wow--wide open action in these first 6 minutes of Spain-Portugal. Spain is VERY aggressive in the early going. I have a feeling this is going to be a fun match to watch.
 
not the first striker I have heard angry about getting subbed off... you work hard all game to tire out the Defense, then when you have them tired, someone else comes in to reap the benefits. Still shouldnt have been a public thing for RVP though.

Crazy weekend. In the span of 48 hours, South America went from unbeatable (only Chile was out, and at the hands of Brazil) to the brink of extinction after Europe reasserted their dominance. I guess it's all up to Uruguay now.
 
I thought Germany was a top 3 team since game 1 of the WC, but even I had no idea they could dominate like they did. That was impressive.

Got them winning it all. Germany vs Netherlands.
 
Germany is good, but I think the Netherlands will win it all. It's the year of the Dutch.
 
at this point i want germany or holland to win..don't really care which one. maybe the dutch for wheels
 
I want the Netherlands to win. They're one of my Approved teams (Approved teams like Brazil and Argentina really disappointed). Spain would also be okay but Netherlands is ahead of them.

everyone thought germany was a top team after their first game, the real question is how many thought it after their 2nd(the 1-0 loss to serbia)?

i do think germany will win the world cup, but after the group stage i wasn't sold on them being a semi final caliber team.
