Joel is a very good center. Roy is going to up his game and play at an MVP level the rest of the season. Bayless will emerge as a force in this league. And Outlaw will come back and hit the game winning shot in overtime of Game 7 of the 2010 NBA Finals. Remember what the scout said at ESPN.com. We're better without Oden. Be afraid, NBA!

i got a free hat tonight, its kinda lame but free-ninety-nine is where its at. its purple. ill probably never wear it. maybe i should give it to someone who needs it. its warm, its a stocking cap. i got it at work today it was winter hat giveaway night for the manchester monarchs. and it snowed tonight too for the first time this year. good timing.

I appreciate the intent behind your sentiment, but honestly this just strikes me as completely hollow and meaningless right now. People are going to be down, there's no talking our way out of it right now. Just let it be.

Which begs the question as to why he's allowed to post at all when history has shown that pretty much every single one of his posts is to start shit?

Centers for last 6 championship teams

2004- Ben Wallace
2005- Nazr Mohammed
2006- Shaquille O'Neal
2007- Fabricio Oberto
2008- Kendrick Perkins
2009- Andrew Bynum

Joel is better than or as good as 5 of those.
 
Wallace/Shaq/Bynum were all all-star caliber.

Duncan was pretty much the C for the Spurs on those.

That leaves Kendrick Perkins.
 
Also, besides the Jordan Bulls, every team that won a championship for like 25 straight years had a C that was in the all-star game. You need a pretty good big man.
 
Before Greg's injury, there was a slim chance we could have won it all if Greg realized his potential late in the season.

Now, it is not a given that we make the playoffs and it is not Joel's fault. It is hard to find areas where we have improved over last year's team that was bounced in the first round with the injuries and Miller coming off the bench.
