The Winter from Hell continues.....It's Snowing again and I'm stuck here by myself.

I just got in the mail yesterday Tickets to Guatemala to see the in-laws after the Holidays....... Merry Christmas to me.

Time for Appetizers.........Pizza Rolls, Mozzarella Sticks, and those Frozen Cheetos Snacks I told Ron about.

It's 68 degrees here today, with sunshine expected t/rest of the week.

It did drop down to 10 fkng freezing degrees the other night, yet still was 72 by noon....
So many peeps reside in So Cal for this weather. So many in fact, makes me wonder how So Cal doesn't become a 300 mile square sink hole.....

I spent the last 3 nights, from 7pm to 4am, making Old Fashioned (custard based) Ice Cream, the proper way, half cream, half whole milk. Any more cream than 50% will not freeze proper; and less become Ice Milk, yuch...

2nd night made 3 Apple Pies from scratch, never use canned fruit filling, make my own, and buy fresh picked apples from Tehachapi's Mt Orchards, nothing in the world like a Mutsu Apple Pie....

3rd and final night, 4 Pumpkin Pies, 1 Blueberry, 2 Cherries, and one mixed berry, i.e. Rasberry, Blackberry and Blueberries....

Been making pies since I was a kid, a long story for another day....ice cream too...

I used a 10" Vanilla Bean for this, price 10fkng$$$ for the bean alone. Price to make a gallon of homeade ice cream- (not counting labor of course) 22$, 27$ for the prior Blueberry Ice Cream...

Of course our dog, Homer, is one nosy snooper, always stands by my side when I cook, (when I allow him too), poor guy got snowed upon by a shower of flour....

Now to figure out how to make that Cheetos Pie, and Cheetos crusted Turkey too....Pie first, lol....

He is adorable....Cheetos crusted Turkey??? I'm making Ham.

actually, my Son is making Ham as well. I don't think I'm brave enough to try the Cheetos Turkey, tho' it sounds great....

...I used to make my own ice cream...and I always loaded it up and it was REALLY great. But after buying the cream, heavy, cream sugar, chocolate chips, Reese's chips, nuts, etc., the shit ended up costing $20 a gallon.

Feel better Al...... my Husband gave me the Flu last year although he denies it to this day. I went to Disney World in China last year pretty cool.

Two day food coma in full effect. My wife went to go work out and I'm contemplating having cheesecake for breakfast.
Don't do it.........I now have to put my Husband on a Diet after all the crap he ate over the Holiday.
