A couple of days ago I got a call from an old friend saying he had just dropped a box on my porch. I wish he had rung the doorbell so we could have waved at each other.

He must have made a special trip to a gourmet store as he is about the most un gourmet person I know, to get the goodies. Even better included a DVD of a 1968 Stones performance, the last time Brian Jones played with the Stones, and beautiful Life magazine commemorative issue on John Lennon.

I am not often speechless.
