I also feel with the current rotation, without committing genocide for a starting 5.
Tanaka should do fine.
C.C. I expect to be the same CC from last yr. I'd love to be proven wrong tho'.
Pineda, Nova, I got a feeling neither will survive a full year, without DL time.
Cappy, earned the name Crapuano when the Bums refused his services. He's not even fit for a 6th starter, a RP either. Still trying to figure out what a finesse pitcher means. I doubt he'll find the Greg Madduz school of pitching, for southpaws, either, not in this life or next.
Not good when your looking at wiping out Tex, A-Roid, Beltran. I also doubt either of these 3 will be effective. Carlos may if he can only stay healthy, yet I"m beginning to doubt that too.
I don't like this un-easy feeling this close to reporting to ST. In too many past decades, the Yanks only dilemma was like the Bums OF one last year. Too much talented SP's, or is there such a thing?[/QUOTE

CC is still a big wildcard in the Yankee rotation. I'm not going to bet on it but his arm/knee should be healed.....he didn't have reconstruction or Tommy John surgery.
I think it's reasonable to expect him (with a 90 mph, good changeup and breaking ball) to be at least a solid #3or4 SP. I know this isn't what he was signed up as....but maybe the Yanks can get something more out of him. Just maybe he'll give us close to what Kuroda provided.
I see no reason why CC can't bounce back and become at least a "good" SP. We'll see.
