I would love to hear, though, how showing up with a bad back to a desk job compares to showing up to play in an NBA game and getting hit by KAT or Cousins.

It triggers me because there are many people in this world who are injured and have just as physical or even more physical jobs than Nards does.
Those people like myself still go to work because life doesn't get put on hold because your hurt.

Also, again, has he had this injury for 5yrs? cause if not i can barely tell the difference between a fit meyers and an 'injured' one, other than minutes and the extended disappointment of having to watch him for longer.

It's not like he was a sure thing coming out of Illinois. In fact I distinctly remember there was a lot of chatter that he was coming out too early and needed a couple more years of seasoning in the collegiate ranks. Once he got here, I don't know if it's a lack of coaching, shattered confidence, the injuries, or just having no real instincts for the game, but there's any number of reasons why he looks the way he does.
