[video=youtube;1-GkQihKYvM] I think Meyers is more like Robin in this video.

Good for conditioning, but that's not really his weakness. I would wear one for my marathon training, but would get shot by the overzealous comifornia LE.

The weird thing is, training at altitude, whether it be geographically or artificially, has a very limited shelf life in terms of how it naturally impacts the body. The red blood cell count starts to normalize almost the next day after such training if you don't stay at those heights. The primary reason bikers and such did it was to build up red cells, remove the high count blood, and re-inject it before big stages of, say, the Tour de France. Now that this is well-known, and that doping is banned, bikers and endurance athletes who train at altitude have a cloud of suspicion over them. Training in Boulder, CO, two months before the the Tour de France will help climbing techniques, I suppose, but the only reason to do it is to store that blood for re-injection later.

Magnifier has grown muscles, but his girl still looks the same.

dude is more concerned about getting yoked than being a better basketball player.

I'm not sure jogging is considered "getting yoked." He does appear to be much more genetically gifted than most other 7' players, in terms of lean muscle.

With all his money, life is fun right now. When he's on the precipice with his next team is when he'll get serious about basketball.

He was doing weight training with it on as well.

He went up to Seattle for a couple of days with his fiance. They went jogging together. He probably wore the mask thing to get in a bit more of a workout since she probably doesn't run at the quickest of paces.

Not all weight training is the same. Unless he's trying to max 400lbs and squat 700lbs, with that being the goal, he's doing strengthening work on his fast-twitch muscle fibers. Some people are blessed with better muscular genetics than others. Weightlifting with less oxygen is counterproductive in terms of creating mass, isn't it, since you'll gain more mass by having high levels of oxygen for the blood.

He should play more basketball.

He just spent a part of his summer in Grand Rapids, MI, with Kaman and his family, while he's a 22 year-old millionaire, to play basketball. Maybe he should spend his summer filming a movie instead, like Oscar winner Darius Miles.

Likely a very short period of time. It's pretty evident that Myers doesn't work on his game very much in the off-season otherwise he would've improved. At least Darius Miles had natural talent but he was very lazy and didn't work hard with it, Meyers doesn't have very much talent therefore he needs to play a lot more to get better and more aware. His conditioning is the least of my worries personally as a supporter of the Portland trailblazers basketball club.

Or, maybe he works as hard as he possibly can, and just isn't going to be a great NBA basketball player regardless? I could have practiced, slept, and trained 24/7 with John Wooden and Phil Jackson coaching me and the best trainers training me, and never come close to making the NBA, let alone a D-I college basketball team. I was the point guard for a school with 2400 students as a senior, too. Have you ever competed with elite basketball players? It's humbling when you're 19 and think you're hot shit. I can imagine what it's like at 22 and having a bunch of "fans" bashing my every move.

I used to play rat ball against Terrell Brandon all the time down at U of O. It was amazing how much better he was. I used to always get matched up against him because I could barely.... maybe sometimes... keep up with him.

Nope. He needs to go to big man camp!

He goes to Coach Grgurich's camp. I think this will be his 3rd year and is the best player camp around. If you're thinking of Pete Newell's Big Man Camp that ended in 2008 when he died.

He just needs some on court awareness.

He just needs to get punched in the Nards and quit basketball and give up on life.

wow, that post makes you sound like a fucking asshole or a Lakers fan. But I'm sure you're not either of those, and you just chose your words poorly.

Option C: You have no sense of humor.
