It's more than that.

You see.....if he wanted to win Rip City's heart.....because deep down he knows nobody in this town likes him for his terrible contract and non-factor contributions.......what he would do this off-season is work with either a reputable big-man coach and/or with the rest of the team. Or he would accept that he's never going to be good at anything basketball-related, and make the best of his presence here by doing charities for the team by signing autographs and visiting children in the hospital. He'd be friendly smiles and very humble. That sort of thing.

Instead......he's doing stupid shit like this on Instagram with a Rolls Royce and some nobody douchebag in really annoying sunglasses.

That's why nobody likes him.

I could grumble about his contract, and if anything I blame Olshey for that rather than him (who's gonna turn down $10M/year to sit on their ass?). At least if he was humble about it and doing good work off the court, that would be okay.

This. It's like I said in a previous post: I wouldn't have a problem about him if he was humble about his position here in Rip City. Instead, he's a jackass on social media; like he's purposefully trying to piss everyone off.

i dunno if he's a troll, i think he legit thinks he's funny. id love to think the whole Rise Up doco was a troll, but holy hell - he's serious.....
he's super quick to block anyone on any comms platform that says anything isnt all 'love and loyalty' to brand meyers, this was the first time he's engaged and tripped out.

tbh im not triggered by this kinda shit, its more that thats how he is and how useless he is for us + how much of a handbrake he is to franchise flexibility. it's just woeful all around.
