I am wanting to find out who is interested in coming to a game on Wednesday March 5th against Denver to celebrate MGB's life. Michael's wife and I had originally wanted to do it on Sat Mar 1st but that date won't work now. The Denver game is also the Damian Lillard galss night. So you would get an extra bonus for coming to that game.
We can meet at Red Robin for dinner at 5 and talk about Michael before walking to the Moda Center around 6:30 for the game.
You will be able to buy tickets at the season ticket discount. You can call his ticket rep to buy your tickets. His name is Todd Ricksger.
Please let me know if you are in so I can have an idea of how many seats to reserve at Red Robin. Thanks!!
 
Sounds like a great idea. I'll either call Todd, or just pick up a cheap ticket outside of the RG. Put me down for a yes for one spot. I will be there. Looking forward to hearing more about Mike's life.

I live north of Seattle so I can't do it. But having taken care of my mother with Parkinson's Disease, I can tell you that his wife is a loving, caring, sacrificing person.
 
Just to clarify, the 5th we play Atlanta. My wife does not get off work till usually 530 plus will be coming from Vancouver so pregame we will not be able to make it. We already have tickets and had planned on going.

At halftime, do we want to meet at one of the pubs on the 100 level?
 
I wish I could make it, but I'll be in Denver.

For me, it's all about the funds and if I have it or not... and it's hard to tell this far in advance. I -really- want to go, it just may not happen.

That, and for the most part, people in real life are much nicer than their "personas" on here. At least, I'd like to think that. :lol:
 
Doubt I'll be able to get to Portland. Should I send cookies? Serious.

Yes, we do play Atlanta that night. We can for sure meet at halftime for a beverage. Just name the spot. I'm thinking Shonz place.

Papa G there is no need to cancel. There was not that much interest before. You are more than welcome to come and it would be much appreciated.

How much is the season ticket price? There's a chance I could go if the price is right.
 
Don't trust that Charcoal Filtered guy! JFizz and I waited an entire halftime and part of the 3rd qrt for him and he never showed.

I saw him after the game but tried meeting up with you guys before and at halftime. If you guys texted me to be somewhere, I either did not get it or it was delayed.

Sounds like we may have a side show to boot. Can we get ED O to come. He and Michael really got into it a few times.

You can get your ticket anytime. Just call the Blazers and ask for Todd Ricksger. Tell him you want to buy a ticket to Michael's memorial game on Wednesday March 5th against Atlanta in section 207 as close to Michael's seats as possible.
