Hello everyone, I have been talking with Karla and we have decided to do a memorial for Michael with everyone here by attending a dinner and Blazer game. I still need to talk with the Blazers but I want to get input from the board if the day we chose works and thoughts of where to meet for dinner. It needs to be walking distance to the Rose Garden. (I don't like Moda center). My thought is Red Robin. The game we think works best is Saturday March 1st against Denver. We could meet for dinner at 4 and hear stories from board members about Michael (that's what Karla really wants). Then head to the game which starts at 7.
I know with events the board has done in the past I think I can get a block of tickets and then each one of you can call and pay for your ticket. I'm not sure if they would all be at Will Call or you would each print or have your ticket mailed to you. Again, I need to talk with the Blazers still.
For the season ticket holders on the board you are obviously invited as well and you don't have to worry about the ticket part.
So, I will contact the Blazers and if everyone here could let me know if you think you can come let me know so I have an idea of how many tickets to ask the Blazers to block out for us. Thanks, Donnie BlazerBeliever

I wish I could.... Would like to give my respects to the family

Just wondering if there is any interest from the board in doing this. MGB was a huge part of this board and it would be real nice to have a little get together and talk about posts and stories about him.

Can't make it as family will be in LA that time, otherwise I totally would have been down

I'm in.

We used to do an annual Blazers bash. It's been a while.

That's just it. Having a memorial for MGB is the point, however just having a bash is so awesome also. I just got an e-mail from the Blazers and they can hold seats in the row right in front of Michaels seats. They would be 56 dollars each and every person can call and pay for their ticket. They just need an idea of how many people want to come so they can hold them.
Please let me know guys if you can or want to come to the game on March 1st against Denver. Again for now I just need to givr the Blazers some idea of how many seats to hold. Thanks!

That's a pretty solid price for 200 level. Count me in for two!

Damn that's a good price! When do you need to know by? 'Cause I gotta make sure I will have the funds.

I will talk to the Blazers today and see what kind of deadlines they need. I'm thinking I need to have an idea of who is interested in coming within a week. Then I can have the Blazers block out some tickets in the row in front of Michaels' seats. Then at that point there will be a certain time period where everyone calls in and buys their ticket or tickets.

Got it. Thanks for the reply. I will get back to you on this! I'm going to try to make this work!

Since there is not much interest at this time maybe we can re visit this in a month.
