MLB is running nostalgia video clips of Mickey Mantle as he was remembered by former opponents, team mates, and celebrities, No distinctive times were mentioned but I will check out MLB Programming this week, I was a huge Mickey Fan.

Yes, please as Rick said let us know-

I do bet most here would go out of their way to watch if not record, anything on Mickey......

Who wasn't a Star Gazer of "the Commerce Comet", in His Prime....!!!

...Mantle was the reason I became a Yanx/Baseball fan in the first place.

I heard about this from Scott Braun last night. These clips on the Mick I figure could possibly be presented on:
MLB Central: 10 AM Eastern
High Heat: 1PM Eastern
Rundown: 2PM Eastern
MLB Now 4: PM
MLB Tonight 6PM

I left out Intentional talk at 5 PM, for some reason I can't feature those two butt heads Rose & Millar featuring the Mick but who knows. To me the most likely programs would be MLB Central or the Rundown. I wonder what Mickey would have to say if he heard that "bump in the road comment" .

If you want to see a Mickey Mantle rarity go to You Tube: Teresa Brewer "I Love Mickey" I remember seeing them do this song on TV.

Mickey was my boyhood hero.......when heroes meant
something. BTW, The Mick would have smashed Tex
for his excuse 'bump' comment. And I would have
reveled. Oh, where are those heroes today?

Just heard that Costas will be interviewing Mickey Mantles son Thusday on MLB tonight. They just showed a small presentation by Paul Simon.

No one talked about losing on those old Yankee Teams it just wasn't done. I heard Mantle simply state that when his Yankee Teams won or lost it was deserved no excuses '60 World Series excepted. Mick said that loss was unbelieveable.

Jeter just retired...
