IDF had a video of the barrage of missiles sent their way. Said it was likely what hit the hospital. They edited the tweet to take out the video, because the video came a half hour after the hospital was hit. Weird edit, IMO.
 
Obviously we need more information.

For Israel it would be not just atrocity but stupidity at a time when they have world's sympathy. For Hamad doesn't make sense. ISIS maybe.

In other words, horrible tragedy but just don't know.
 
Also the timing. Israel is going to do this on the eve of Biden coming over? Just doesn't pass the smell test.

I agree, but you have to remember that every large organization is going to have mistakes by some people in it. Could it be someone at a lower level making a mistake? Maybe. Is it likely that it was ordered at the highest levels? Not very likely.

Time will tell, but they have been pretty certain that it was not them that did it, so hopefully, they did a proper investigation in the short time they had to respond to it. (We have seen how quickly people are eager to point fingers based on hearsay from a questionable source).

My understanding from people that served in the IDF is that the rules are very clear about what they can and can not do, so based on what I have been told about that, I find it very hard to believe it. Add the fact that the Hamas, ISIS and the like are habitually spreading propaganda to further their goals without any issue hurting anyone in their way - and I would certainly not jump to conclusions.
 
I have to ask, who had an interest in derailing any possibility of negotiations for hostage release? Cease fire?
 
US analysis so far seems to agree with Israel that this was an errant rocket gone wrong and the Islamic Jihad responsible for the tragedy based on blast analysis, imagery of rocket launch and communication intercepts.

“While we continue to collect information, our current assessment, based on analysis of overhead imagery, intercepts and open-source information, is that Israel is not responsible for the explosion at the hospital in Gaza yesterday,” Watson said in a statement on Wednesday.

We do not know for sure, and will likely never will, but it is all pointing to the terrorist groups harming their own people, once again, and blaming others for their misdeeds as they often do.

Just a way to cause Israel to delay the ground war. Hamas dont care about Jews, Palestinians or American lives.
 
We're all in very grave danger. This conflict could easily escalate to a global catastrophe. Yet once again, our leadership seems to be nudging the conflict along rather than trying to put the brakes on it. We should tell Israel that if they want to invade, they're on their own. But even that is risky as who knows if they'll decide to push the nuke button? They would probably be nuked back. Total catastrophe.

Add to this, the fact that the dollar will probably collapse in the not too distant future. Things are fucked on so many levels.

And we got delusional Biden talking about how we can fight multiple wars.....

I would say the same for the Israeli government and most other governments. The Israeli regime has made Jewish life harder and more dangerous around the world and the people of Israel know that and are taking to the streets. Good for them.

Hamas is no different than ISIS. They use their own people as human shields and most in Gaza want a change from Hamas. They are religious crazies.

I don't really disagree. I would say the Israeli regime is also full of religious crazies. Most governments have hijacked religion and made it more extreme as a way of controlling the population.

The way the Israeli government has spent so much time and resources taking aim at American "celebs" should give everyone unease. They are doing full on campaigns on King, Haddad, Aniston and I've even heard Oprah.

Everyone should be asking why they have so many commercials on Youtube and trying to bully people in America and accusing everyone of anti-antisemitism. Truly weird stuff.
