Why do I see only a message saying “Loading Reddit Submission” all over the place?

None of this really had anything to do with nuclear disarmament. Israel hated when Obama negotiated a non-nuclear Iran. This is about erasing regimes that acknowledge the existence of the

Palestinians and support their efforts. Iran, Pakistan, and Yemen are the last ones left.

Of course no amount of evidence matters for you because you're so dug in with your tribe and don't acknowledge anything else but here goes nothing...

The image that you produced indicates that is IDF headquarters. The other poster was asking for evidence of weapons being stored in populated areas. These are two completely different things...

Also, how is having the IDF headquarters in a populated city any different than having the Pentagon located in DC? It seems perfectly reasonable placement to me.

It does to me too. It's more about the hypocrisy and the talking points that Hamas hides in densely populated areas and use people like human shields. Both are ridiculous statements.

And it's the IDF headquarters, which means that's where they're weapons depot is.

It's reasonable until someone bombs it. Then it's not a great thing to have had in your neighborhood.
I'd say arguably the Pentagon is more separated from civilian stuff than the IDF headquarters appear to be based on that photo. The pentagon has freeways all around it, a cemetery on one side, the river on another...

No, I don't think that's necessarily correct.

barfo

Deductive reasoning would suggest so. Why does the IDF use their citizens as human shields by placing themselves amongst a densely populated area? That's what I heard for decades was a big no-no about Hamas.

I don't have a strong stance on this conflict. There are issues on both sides...
But this feels like the pot calling the kettle black.

I'm on the side of not giving trillions of dollars to another nation to commit a genocide and attack all of its neighbors. I don't care which country that is.

What side are you on?

I generally agree that the US should not be funding other nations military activities. Especially any offensive engagements.
Unfortunately, it feels like the US is funding groups on all sides of a conflict.

But I'm not "on a side".

And what if there is a slim chance you are wrong?
Lets say - to this day (and I googled it) I can't really tell why Portland is 'RIP' City and what it actually mean.. why is that? I live far away and I am not familiar with the culture nor local history.

I am not saying that being distanced does not mean you shouldn't have an opinion - or even a strong one too. But I am saying that humility is warranted.
I work at a hospital in Israel. I have in my staff two arab psychologists. Today I triaged one women to be treated by one of them - and she wouldn't agree. She said she was scared. I work with this guy and he is awsome. The reality is life is complicated. I know nothing about living in a culture with black people. I know very little about the complexity of US society.
I know my values are to promote equal rights and chances and opprotunities. But I also know it is not as simple as that.
What of I told you there is no Genocide in Gaza and even Palestinians think/know that and are willing to say it?
What if I told you Israel was willing to live peacfully side by side with its neighbours but that was repeatadly twarted by other parties?
I live this conflict my whole life. I see myself as a good and kind person. I try my best to help any person the crosses my path - no matter race, religion or poltical view. A lot of people are like me (and quite a few are not). But reality is complicated and personal values do not always tranlsate well when conflict of intrests arise.
I used to think my neighbours were willing to accept that I am here to stay. Today - It becomes less and less secure feeling.
Look inside - are you somewhat pleased when seeing Israel is being hit? That means something.
I can promise you whole-heartidly I want nothing but safe and peacful life for all Palestenians / Iranians / Arab world. But when the other side preaches and teaches day and night for my termination - it becomes so much harder to promote coexistence and peace (and also truthfuly leads to symatrical action/reaction from Israelis). On both parties accounts.
Sad. Complicated. Real.
Life.
Have humility. Be willing to listen to all sides. None is perfect. None is always right. Promote dialogue. Not hate.

What would you lead you to believe that weapons would be based at headquarters? Do we keep our weapons at the Pentagon? (Correct answer is no.)

The U.S. is funding Iran? Do you have any evidence of this?

We obviously have weapons nearby. Don't be dense. Also, try understanding the geography.

This is where you lost me. It is as simple as that. The sooner you have equal rights for all, the sooner you can get to peace. But the regime in Israel has brainwashed its citizens to think everyone is out to get them because you're Jewish, when it was the Palestinians who invited you into their home.

What of I told you there is no Genocide in Gaza and even Palestinians think/know that and are willing to say it?
And you have a lot of brave Jewish brothers and sisters who are willing to admit it IS a genocide. It's really not up to debate anymore. Even Piers Morgan of all people figured it out. So can you.[/QUOTE]

I won't continue to debate things that have already been determined. Circular reasoning is not boding well for Israelis trying to talk the world into understanding their genocide of the Palestinian people. If you won't have an honest discussion, there is no reason to continue. I imagine this was similar to trying to have a discussion with a Nazi at the time. Maybe you really believe it. Or maybe its the decades upon decades of brainwashing.

I wish you and your family safety.

Yes. This is what I assume can be called unababridged differences I guess. And this is why conflict is a thing.
Ask yourself why both Biden and Trump, or any other western leader in the world does not agree with what you said and calls out Genocide. Do you think it is because they can't understand the situation as you just did? Or perhaps you are just wrong and witness the world through very specific echo chambers spectacles (a la the exact same brainwashing argument you cited).

I know you too will not be swayed. But for any other readers on the fence I urge to just keep searching factual info based from all parties combined (Pro Palestine, Pro Israel, Neutral) and then form your opinions..

I'd say your googling skills need work - that answer is readily available.

I'd say that you'd probably get some pushback on those statements.

I used to think my neighbours were willing to accept that I am here to stay. Today - It becomes less and less secure feeling.

I have no problem believing that.

Me, no. I'm sure there are people who are happy about it, just as there are people who are happy when Israel hits their enemies.

Have humility. Be willing to listen to all sides. None is perfect. None is always right. Promote dialogue. Not hate.

That all sounds good. Let's make it happen.

Nearby? What does that mean and why is that relevant?

Are the weapons you claim are at IDF HQ "nearby"? And if so, how far away?

Because Israel is an ally and pro-Israel lobby is funding almost every political campaign in the U.S.

But I'm sure you want us to believe that has nothing to do with it, right?

You're asking people to not believe their eyes, ears, the international courts, the shedded bodies of women and children, and the fact the Israel has admitted that it's not only taking Gaza, it's taking the West Bank where Hamas doesn't even reside. Lol

Yes, if anyone is still on the fence I think it is a good idea they do their own research.

Because Qatar is an ally and Pro Palestine lobby (https://www.whitehouse.gov/fact-she...ic-1-2-trillion-economic-commitment-in-qatar/) and funding almost any education of American Universities and next generation academia.

Kindly please provide evidence for the claim 'Israel is taking West Bank'. As usual - if not true then hogwash.
Israel is at war with Gaza so I admit it does 'take' some of Gaza. As said before - Hamas releases hostages and I will eat anything you want me to if Israel continue fighting.

I don't know if it’s more hilarious or more disturbing.

There is an Iraeli resident who works in a hospital giving specific information about the conflict in HIS part of the world.

But yet people here actually think they know more and are better informed than this individual?

When intelligent people are sooo indoctrinated that they think they know more aBout something happening half way around the world than the ones actually living it..??..??..

disturbing.

We are entering a dark dark place…

But at the same time, should someone who lives on the other side of the world take your word for everything US related, just because you live here?

It's possible to be local and also wrong about stuff.

Suppose I'd told him the meaning of Rip City had to do with "holding onto your shorts" whenever a trade was rumored?

We proved we'd fully entered the dark place in 2016.

Been trying to dig out ever since... Except, you know. 2024...

Did you just combine Israelis and Iranians into one super group?

Kinky!

Just so you know, Fluffy might be the same person from Israel who previously said he has discovered the cure to cancer and I think also invented a perpetual motion machine. Anyone else remember that moniker?
