What even happened to the pier?
What a crock of shit from Comatose Joe.
Save face symbolic effort.
They got through. Caused a billion dollars worth of damage and didn't kill anyone. Sounds like a resounding success on their part. Israel should take note.
Israel spent a $billion defending their country. Iran spent a $billion trying to hurt Israel (missiles and drones are not free).
A little girl was critically hurt, latest unconfirmed report claims she died.
All Iran achieved was blowing holes in the sand, and increasing tensions and odds for a broader war.
Even as someone with a predisposition to support Israel, it's difficult to argue with this point. Or the point that Israel's 6-month (so far) response to Hamas has been ridiculously disproportionate. If they want to try to claim the moral high ground, they needed to be seeking to preserve human life, not eradicate it.They got through. Fact check: false.

60 mil > 1 bil
Context. Try it.
There is no context that makes that equation true.
I'm not disputing whatever the underlying point was, but I am curious about the context. What does the $60 mil refer to?
barfo
An honest comparision can make the claim Iran did more damage to their own economy, than they did to Israel's.
The average monthy wage in Iran is about $230 US. Israel, about $3,100 US, more than 12 times higher.
This attack cost Iran's economy more than Israel's defensive cost. That is before any additional sanctions on Iran.
Why are you commenting if you don't know what $60 mil refers to? Do you make posts on other things you don't know about too?
Why are you so hostile? I don't see $60 mil mentioned anywhere other than in the post I quoted, although it's certainly possible I missed it.

Lol I'm not. I think context matters. Obviously 60 mil is not greater than 1 bil.
The post is in context to how much one country spent vs how much another country lost because of it.
Ok. So where does the $60 mil come from?

I don't think anyone in this thread has said anything otherwise, have they?Iran had every right to respond to Israel's unprovoked attack on their embassy.
Unless someone can provide evidence that Israel's attack was justified. I see no case for any argument to the contrary.
100% agree. I don't have a predisposition to support anybody, but this was a great post.Even as someone with a predisposition to support Israel, it's difficult to argue with this point.
