Also, Hart is now slouch. If height is no longer as important as it used to be in this league... which it isn't, we have things on lock with the starting lineup and the bench at all guard and forward spots. The big question is can Drew Eubanks be the backup big we will need in certain situations. If the answer to that question is yes, I think this roster is going to be fighting for a 4-7 seed. If that answer is no we could be in the play ins. That isn't taking into consideration any impact from Shaedon and he could have a huge impact.Never?
Also, if Nas had stayed healthy and sustained his play, he wouldve ranked as a top 50ish overall defender, at least according to RAPTOR. His grade was comparable to guys like Jrue and Dort. Winslow graded favorably as well.
I would guess a scheme that uses a big body well. How is Nikola Jokic on this list?

Oh, he's gonna play. Might even start at the 3.I'm just worried he won't play much.
Me neither. But you can look at the current year without paying. I haven’t found a detailed description of how it works either.hard to gauge a stat that is behind a paywall...unless you pay...which I won't

Stop what?man stop it
Funny.... I had just started watching this video.
Does anyone else watch his defense and think, "you're not getting away with that on the Blazers."
Stop what?
You'll see after tomorrow's introductory press conference where they will try to convince everyone GP2 is a forward.
The fact that they're hard-capped kind of necessitates this, no?what I have read showed that the team is still under the hard cap amount.
- Gary Payton II‘s three-year deal with the Trail Blazers has a starting salary of $8.3MM and is worth $26.15MM in total, slightly below its reported value of $28MM, Hoops Rumors has learned. The signing leaves Portland with a small portion of its mid-level exception remaining.
I kind of lost interest in the Blazers around the time I did a 40-year analysis of the Blazers vs the Refs, and found we were consistently 1-2FTs lower than our opponents for every season, and the only time we were 1FT above our opponents, we went on a 13-game winning streak that ended when Detroit's head coach complained about the refs, and then we were right back to 1-2FTs under.
We are the whipping boys.

You should send that analysis to the Blazers...I kind of lost interest in the Blazers around the time I did a 40-year analysis of the Blazers vs the Refs, and found we were consistently 1-2FTs lower than our opponents for every season, and the only time we were 1FT above our opponents, we went on a 13-game winning streak that ended when Detroit's head coach complained about the refs, and then we were right back to 1-2FTs under.

it's still hard capping usI am confused about what to call him now. Does this mean we should call him Gary "almost hard cap" Payton?

You missed this one as well...
- Anfernee Simons‘ new four-year, $100MM contract with the Trail Blazers is fully guaranteed, without any incentives, Hoops Rumors has learned. It begins at $22.32MM in 2022/23 and eventually increases to $27.68MM in ’25/26.
interesting. Spotrac also has the last year as a player option.

You missed this one as well...
Damn you Jalen Brunson.
Does anyone know how much of Bledsoe's deal can get offset if he signs elsewhere? @hoopsjock ?
