Maybe it's time the Ducks step away from the spread and the IZR/OZR, With the talent we pull in stepping back to a modern day pro-style offense may actually help the Ducks.
Creating a "pipeline to the NFL" could be crucial in terms of recruiting as well with a more pro-style offense. USC has done it for years (I know, I know... recruiting hotbed) and they used to put up HUGE numbers with similar/slightly better talent.
For the defense, enough with this zone-blitz scheme. It's outdated and turns our defense into a sieve up the middle of the field (3rd and long... and they get 15-20 yards like half the time). I'd like to see a 4-3 defense honestly, it gives us more consistent pressure without losing contain among the rest of the field.
Sorry for the rant/possibly dumb idea, I'm just NOT happy right now with how this season is playing out.
