I would have suggested Mike and Mike in the morning, but that name is taken, and I am not sure Rice gets up that early.......

But seriously does Portland currently have a better sports talk show on the radio then these two guys could provide? I can see Barrett getting a better gig, but by the fall if he hasn't......fire Canzano and give them his time slot. Talk about a win/win!

Nobody wants to see Mike and Mike disappear from the Portland media scene, and if we could make the other guy go away...........I know I would tune in from LA.

I never, and I mean never, listen to sports talk shows but I definitely would if the Mikes or even just Rice were on one. These guys are a huge part of my Blazers fandom.

Although they may not want to, just because the Mike's aren't the broadcast team doesn't mean they couldn't stay connected to the organization on other levels..they could put together a podcast or even run a program like Courtside. Rice should definitely be made an ambassador to the team like Jerome Kersey or Brian Grant.

A podcast would be perfect! Daily Radio can be a grind esp. if they have other gigs. I can see Barrett might get a morning radio talk ahow, maybe non-sports. How hard is it to get local die Blazer fans to switch over from NPR?!

I don't even know which games, he said some, indicating not all, so not sure. But they are on rip city radio in the afternoons from 3-6 or 4-6 I believe? Travis also coaches a baseball team out on the west side somewhere. Anyhow, he keeps my afternoon commute entertained for the most part.

How well did the radio show they had do? I know I could not listen to it because they did not offer much without a game going on.
