Disagree there are differences especially on social and cultural issues.
I see the financial and corporate corruption stuff as well but they are not the same.

The problem with our U.S. congress is too much corporate/billionaire corruption. Both parties are full of bought and paid for politicians who work for their special interests and donors. Increasingly they get less and less done as both parties push corporate/donor agendas rather than policies for all Americans. It's no wonder that 40 years of corruption has brought us this corporate friendly gig economy that is spitting losers out on the sidewalk daily. (Look up how much homelessness has increased since Trump took office. Not to just blame Trump here, homelessness was increasing even before he took office. So there is plenty of blame to go around.)

The other problem that I see is, both parties have been taken over by their right wing. Moderate republicans have taken over the democrat party, and the right wing just keeps going further right. Both parties generally ignore, or even disdain, their more left/center members. Under Trump though the republican party is no longer even on the political spectrum. They are now nothing more than the radical right wing. The left is heading in the same direction themselves in a desperate attempt to hold onto power in their party. It is the reason that both parties are currently split in two.

My point was, you can be extreme left or right and they have the same mentality. No reason for compromise! Both wacky. One wants to blow up abortion clinic's and the other military recruiting centers!
They are one of the same, int my mind. I wasn't referring to the Scalawag Pirate!
 
Told you all nothing has changed since 2016, DNC is totally manipulating the primaries and will install either Clinton or Michelle Obama on the ticket any way they can, to ensure they eventually end up in the POTUS seat.

In 2004 Bloomberg, a Republican, actually campaigned for George W. Bush’s re-election at the Republican National Convention. His whole basis for support was the Iraq War, nonetheless.

This guy is someone Democrats are actually considering voting for?

Given that Obama is endorsing Bloomberg, Michelle is the likely tit for that tat. She'll be his VP candidate, or be promised a major position in his never-to-be administration.
