For those missing Mikki, he got about $3 million more guaranteed in his deal with the Kings than what the Nets were offering.</p>
His Kings deal is for three years and $17.7 million of which only the first two years and $2 million of the third year are guaranteed.
That works out to $5.4 million in 2007-08, $5.9 million in 2008-09 and $2 million guaranteed in 2009-10 for a total of $13.3 million guaranteed. If the Kings exercise his option in 2009-10, when he will be 35, he will get $6.5 million that year, for a grand total of $17.7 million.</p>
The Nets offered Moore a deal for three years and $10.3 million, apparently all guaranteed. That would have worked out to $3.1 million in 2007-08, $3.4 million in 2008-09 and $3.8 million in 2009-10.</p>
"The Nets were very competitive and tried hard to keep him," said Moore's agent, Mark Bartelstein.</p>
