I think if you were to dig deeper, that is exactly why The Dipshit in Chief is sending the army in. The "Portland is burning" is just cover for the MAGAts who don't make an effort to stay informed and educated.......which, come to think of it, is ALL of them.....

Trump has never been to Portland in his life. It’s just a great talking point for him cause no one likes him here.
 
Preparation for troops on the street next election. Not in DC or Portland or LA. In swing states. Phoenix, Atlanta, Durham. Just enough people need to be scared away from voting in person while Trump tries to ban absentee voting.

Shutting down the government and creating martial law in order to protect serial pedophile fascists in power. It’s just so unbelievable but also believable. Guess it’ll teach the world to never trust our government institution. If we ever get rid of this coup we should probably hand over all of our military assets to the United Nations and be a low level member for eternity.

On my way to the library, I drove by a few houses that were just the shells of the houses!

I saw that too, and was about to post about it. He's desperate to show how the small part of Portland that isn't great, speaks for the rest of the city. It's kind of embarrassing how desperate he has become to be right about this.
