The pics in Oregonian site look like normal protest with a few Portland touches (blowing bubbles, tiara and magic wand, other nonlethal props).

That used to be our team hotel in Chi-Town for about 10 years until Trump was elected the first time. haven’t been back. Same as in NYC….then he sold it and we returned! The one in this tweet, we were staying there….woke up on a beautiful St. Patricks Day morning and looked at twitter and saw they had fried Nate/ Traded Camby and sent Wallace to Brooklyn for Damian Lillard. Coach Canales led us to a huge victory the next night against the Bulls! #BAM

Kotek urged people to continue to peacefully protest but not break the law.



“Let’s say to each other: We, as Oregonians, support each other, even though we have a lot of chaos and unpredictability that we don’t deserve,” Kotek said. “And, as your governor, I’m going to stand with you.”
 
Trump said today "the liberal governor" said troops not needed but Portland looks like World War II. It's burning to the ground.

Bet he has no idea the name of "the liberal governor".

Widely speculated that they're looking to provoke responses to their intrusions to justify declaring martial law and suspend the midterm elections. Recall the BLM protests, far right instigators (umbrella man, Bugaloo Bois) will provide those responses
