You seem confused. I assumed it was just your usual pretending to lack a clue, but in this case I'll have to say your confusion is justified. The link was updated, so it no longer says what it used to.

It used to have a quote along these lines: “What you going to do when the militia comes after you, FBI?” a second militant added.

Knowing how to win is only part anyway, the other part is having a good fight to fight. They lacked both.

Maybe it is a great plan and we just don't understand it yet.

Yes, Denny. It's true. I failed. I had opened that news story hours earlier, and then posted the link without thinking that maybe they'd revised the story since.

Luckily, the truth was still out there, so MarAzul will be taking me sailing soon.

Even at 1:57 of your posted video, they didn't call themselves militia.

A guy suggested some "militia" might go after the FBI. These guys seem to be waiting for the FBI to come and murder them all.
 
Their plan was to start a confrontation with the Feds and hope "the people's militia" come riding to save them while local authority turns a blind eye.

You'd call them what they call themselves. If they were calling themselves militia, the reporters would be calling them militia.

Protesters seems to be the right description.
