Militia takes over Malheur National Wildlife Refuge headquarters (2 Viewers)

Welcome to our community

Bravery wasn't a part of it, because they weren't being threatened.
You refuse to recognize the threat they have posed those people in their community...I'd say a neighborhood of folks showing up unarmed to defuse the situation required bravery..

Defending yourself with guns against the FBI (or the OSP) is definitely not legitimate and lawful. LaVoy knew better, and chose suicide-by-cop.

The FBI set up a trap, planned for it, and shot the man. It wasn't necessary.

Sit in at the dean's office is trespassing. Sorry you can't see it unless it's leftists doing it.

Those people were arrested, beaten with nightsticks, and even shot.

That is what civil disobedience is.
that's a truly bs assumption....I lived through those times too Denny..

The entire thing was unnecessary. Those militia dipshits didn't need to come to Oregon in the first place.

So you're now going to try to make the case that this government wilderness is where people live?

yes...I live surrounded by BLM land and guess what...other people live out here too....in their case...an entire Paiute tribe has concerns about their artifacts and burial grounds but I guess you like the cows more ...

Denial doesn't change the facts.

The Paiute reps politely told them they have to leave....but I guess they don't have the same rights as the cowboys

Those silly freedom riders didn't need to go around the South.

You say the most idiotic things sometimes.

It's a free country.

I've got a copy of the best of life.....when I see an army of police with water cannons beating people in Burns...I'll see the comparison..this is not even close to what's really going on there

If they told Uncle Sam to leave would he?

Hahahahaha.

Sorry Denny, but all causes are not morally equivalent.

It is a free country, but you are not free to break the laws without consequences.

LaVoy broke the law, and suffered the very predictable consequences.

That was New York City and Occupy Wall Street protestors.

Occupy Wall Street ok.

Occupy government buildings in the middle of nowhere not ok.

Double standard.

Both have grievances and OCCUPY is their choice of civil disobedience.

Those occupy folks occupied the parks, illegally camping there, they didn't bathe, and the locals wanted them gone.

It is very much the same thing.

I disagree with any armed occupation of wildlife refuges.... I disagree with the way a lot of protests are conducted...I don't remember the Wall Street protesters declaring war on the govt either

Let's tell the world: only those causes barfo blesses have merit.

The man was killed for a crime no worse than trespassing. The government murdered the man, needlessly. I hold government to a high standard when it comes to use of deadly force.

New video. They state their original objective. It's a bit different from what Denny is claiming.

They don't have to, nor should they, care if you disagree. That's kind of the point.

He was killed for reaching for his gun, same as most people who chose suicide-by-cop. He knew what he was doing.

You can hold the government to whatever standard you want, though.

What exactly do you think this says is their original objective?

Must be the part about, "if they want a peaceful resolution, they won't attack with their guns blazing."

They knew he might. They provoked an unnecessary armed confrontation. They murdered him. It was planned in advance.

"The objective was to see if the cops would just come and kill everyone."

You can keep saying that, I got all night. But it won't change the fact that he created the situation and chose the final outcome.

Denny, they repeatedly ask in their videos for people to join them in their cause. You are defending them much better than they are able to defend themselves. You really should go to Burns and join them. They need you.

Sorry riverman, the guy was on foot, ass deep in a snow bank. No fucking way to go anywhere. He did not need to be shot. The snow bank would change his demeanor in due course.
I don't know that it had not already changed, his hands were up, then apparently he was shot. Another 10 minutes in the snow bank and perhaps we have a different ending. Maybe even more time would be needed.

So after reaching for his gun WHEN POLICE ARE PRESENT what do you expect them to do?

I swear the double standards that are coming out of you...

Now try answering my question about Tamir Rice.
