Thread has to come up every year.. and now's the time.

With Holiday and Grant back on the floor, Deni's back not so sore, and Love and Cissoko with their feet in the door, we may have a minutes crunch in store.

So if it were your call, who all would ball, and whose minutes would fall so our team stands tall and their winning ways don't stall?

To me there are 5 core players:

Shaedon, Deni, Jrue, Jerami, Donovan.

Everyone else will fill in on different nights and as needed based on injuries. On a fully healthy team, Rob, Caleb, Matisse are guaranteed minutes. Kris, Sidy and Blake next.

You forgot Scoot ;)

I believe Toumani should be on the court at least 30 minutes a game FAMS!

Camara and Scoot say "hi"

Clingan played 37 minutes last night, on the 2nd of a B-2-B. That's probably a bit too much. I think he should be averaging around 30 but he's getting over 27 so that's a minor quibble

but I'm wondering who the 2nd best player on the team is between Sharpe and Clingan. Clingan certainly has the edge in impact metrics

my opinion on Deni has evolved as he has steadily improved his game. He's better than I thought he was going to be, but the way he plays, I would not mind seeing his 35.3 minute average drop a little.

Rupert most likely to lose all his minutes. Seems that Love will hold onto his minutes at least until Scoot is back, cuz he can handle the ball. Although what if Wesley comes back? I think they will trade Thybulle if they can, So Cissoko won't lose minutes. If Murray comes back, probably Duop will lose minutes.
Will be some tough decisions, especially if they can't make some trades soon.

Jrue 28
Shae 32
Deni 34
Tou 28
DC 28

Love 20
Sidy 15
Grant 28
Rob 15

Others 12

Of course, Grant and Holiday aren't getting 28mpg yet, but soon.

Tough decisions, please. The alternative is trading away depth and watching the starters get hurt ....again.

Jrue 0
Grant 10

Keep them injury-free so we can trade them.

If everyone gets healthy and we don't see any trades, which would frustrate me then I'd like to see the minutes breakdown like:

Deni 30
Shaedon 30
Toumani 30
Jrue 30
Donovan 25
Jerami 30
Scoot 30
Blake 20
Rob 15

Until Scoot and Blake get back 25 minutes per game for both Sidy and Caleb.

Is Matisse out in this lineup?

But what do we do with the guy we get in this Thybulle trade you talk about?

Just shave 5 minutes off of Scoot, Jerami and Blake. So there would be 15 minutes for Tisse.

I sure hope we have a consolidation trade or two in the next 17 days.
Camara, Rupert, Scoot and picks for Giannis. Sign Love and Cissoko to regular contracts. Problem solved. If I’m Milwaukee, I take the deal.

Since contending teams that might want Thybulle are probably over the cap; then would need a third team. Contending team gets Thybulle and sends expiring contract and second round pick to the third team. I don't really know if that is possible but.....

I still think that Jrue has to go. TBH, I am not sure if it's smart to have either Jrue or Lillard on the team if it holds back our ability to keep and develop young guys.

This is going to sound equally out there but I think we're close enough that having Jrue puts us within spitting distance of contending in the West within two years. I would keep him if at all possible.
