Did you forget about how I used to DJ sets at Ohm in the late '90s?

what did you spin?

Mainly House as the years went on, some techno since that's how I started.

Yeah, that's right! Ace of Zaggerfan mocking others for lame music. Now that's irony!

I don't know why people get worked up about music. We all have some sort of lame-ass music that we like - most people are just afraid to admit it. There's some music I like that is absolute garbage, but for whatever reason, I like it.

But Ace of Base is teh down-right gheyness.

I like turtles.

*sniff* I have a name hoojacks!

sorry i was trying to use techno abbreviations in order to appear hip to the kids and get internet cred for my (and your) unpopular opinions. I mean, I can only assume PapaG is like 13 so can't blame me for trying to reach out to the youth right?

The who and the what now? I listen to sports talk when I'm driving. Did you forget about how I used to DJ sets at Ohm in the late '90s? John Tesh? lol

Dude, I wouldn't spread that around.... that place was weird.

I went in there once and only once. There was a fat guy dancing around in a pink teletubby costume.

Was he, by any chance, also a guest DJ?

no, i dont really like sucking on pacifiers, and i preferred mosh pits at the time

Mosh pits in the late '90s? Were you still wearing flannel while you were dancing to Limp Bizkit?

Ohm wasn't about pacifiers, either. It was a club, not a rave. LOL

KPW ... some of ya'll needed to get out more.

wow man you were/are out of touch

playing other peoples music is fun though, ever make any of your own?

Mosh pits were soooo 1991. My freshman year of college, and Nirvana and Pearl Jam just strarted to hit. Still moshing in the late '90s to Limp Bizkit and Linkin Park is hilarious to me. Kids.

And yeah, I made plenty of my own music. Since you already exposed your ignorance as to Ohm, I'm also guessing that you don't know what a club DJ does. Hint - it's not like putting on a CD at a strip club or bar mitzvah.

you moshed to pearl jam???

oh my fucking god, you just made my day :biglaugh:

i moshed to slayer and the like, good way for a 16 year old to get some agression out

never liked limp biscuit, although i appreciated wes borlands playing, but fred was just such a tool

and ive matched beats before, it took me a whole hour to learn how to do it, its funner to add stuff to it with instruments and fx though, that way you arent just standing there like an idiot playing someone elses music

what does a Pearl Jam mosh pit look like? dudes in flannel rubbing shoulders slowly singing along to Jeremy?

and i lived in california in the late 90's, so yes, i am ignorant to all the sweet raves you played at

Yep, exactly. Jeremy was their only song.

What did a Limp Bizkit mosh look like? A bunch of dudes in red hats and face paint wanting to "Break Something"?

hell if I know. I hated Limp Bizkit, never listened to any of their shit.

You obviously never listened to PJ either, yet you're pretending to be an expert on them.

Jeremy isn't exactly a slow song, either. Were you thinking of "Black", "Evenflow", or "Alive"? Although "Alive" gets pretty heavy at the end.

Jeremy circa 1992
