Do we still want to trade Roy?

Come now, my thread wasn't THAT bad. I like Roy and I like his game. All I was wondering aloud was if he was a really good fit for the team. He and Nate profoundly disagree over how we should play offense. It's not like I shot the Pope.

Or is it?

BTW, on a side note you will appreciate, ABM's sister had him over to meet some of her lady friends. I think she's trying to hook him up. The chicks I found for him on CL have all petered away.

No, BUT he did seem to move around like an old man.

It didn't look like (to me) a knee issue as much of a lazy/out of shape issue. It's not like he had an obvious limp in his step, which would indicate knee or ankle. He just seemed like he was dogging it. and he could be dogging it because he's

A: still suffering from a hammy issue
B: has a bone bruise
C: slept with Mrs HCP
D: is pouting due to Miller
E: has a bum knee (he did have a knee/shin brace thingy, but it was taken off).

He did seem to move better than the OKC game, but a lot of his defense was "I'm an old man, I don't play defense". You know, the same kind of defense we'd all play if we had to play basketball against high school kids.

Now, back to your thread. We should trade Armon, the dude was a walking turnover!!

Hahaha! Great post!

Gives me all I need to know.

Trade Armon while his stock is still high!

Armon will be fine. But I was surprised Nate let him stay in and make so many turnovers

Nate doesn't have much of a choice, Rudy is out, Matthews is struggling, you shouldn't ask your best player to play out of position (Roy) and Miller can't play 48 minutes.

Armon is a rookie, so I'm prepared for the peaks and valley's that come with that, I honestly think he's going to be a good player down the line though.

I was just kidding about trading him, he's fast becoming a favorite.

That's a point I noticed too. In years past, whoever was the youngin' playing PG or SG would've been yanked 20 milliseconds after the 1st turnover. It seems obvious that Nate loves Armon blindingly.

You did see Roy had his lower leg in some kind of wrap in the first half right?

Tell ABM to get a plentyoffish account. All kinds of lonely wine-o's wandering around there.

That's because we had three point guards in Blake, Sergio, and Jack. Plus, Roy was our main playmaker. This year, we have Miller and the rookie. Nate has no choice but to play him.

Are you serious?

100% serious.

Who is our future?? Our franchise 3 time all star and one of the best shooting guards in the league?? OR an aging NBA journeyman?? Miller wants the ball in his hands too much, he takes some ridiculous shots. Yes he has got assists in the last two games, but his job isnt to take 18-20 shots a game. If he is trying to do both, which so far this year he has been, then what happens to our shooting guard?? He gets ticked off, as well he should be. If OKC need a basket, they give it to Durant, if Lakers need a basket they give it to Kobe, if we need one we give it to Roy..............well, providing Miller passes it to him.

How is it, the other night V OKC, in the overtime period Miller takes 5 shots and our best player in Roy takes only 1 (which resulted in two free throws)?? I just think Bayliss showed enough last year that he was ready to step it up to the next level this year, and my personal opinion is, Miller is expendable.

We should have moved Miller on and kept Bayliss.
