Did anyone else see the Rockets bench holding on to Mo when he landed in their laps? Seemed like they kept him from getting up for at least five or six seconds. Maybe that's what he was chipping about after the game?

No I didn't... I would love to watch the replay on that

Id like to see that. Fuck it, mo is a warrior and most of the rockets are all smug trash talkers.

That doesn't appear to happen in the video Mags linked. Maybe you're remembering a different play.

what time of the game was that at, do you happen to remember?

I think was a few minutes before the linked play. I remember still hoping to see the replay at the time Mo hit the three...

Thanks, still have it on DVR, will try to take a look for it later on.

My post #35
That's not the play I was talking about. I think one or two commercial breaks before that play, Mo ended up in the laps of a couple of Rockets on the bench, and one or some of them held on to him to keep him from getting back on the floor.

Guys guys guys... We have that player that every other team hates... We need him to get under the other teams skin.

We should be thankful that we have that grimy player that everyone hates.

Meyers Leonard?

I kid. I kid. The kid.

;)

It was clearly... Oh wait. Talking out of my ass.

RoyToy was clearly talking out of his ass. The first clue that Mo was inbounds was that no one on the Rocket benched yelled for a replay, and they were 3' away from the play.

forget that they were gifted that ridiculous foul to give Daniels three free throws,

That was a foul on Wright. He hit Daniels on the wrist. I thought that was a good call. Rocket fans (along with Reggie Miller) whining about Harden not getting 3 FTs when LMA didn't even touch him is hilarious to me.

Haven't read through all the threads so I didn't want to raise this, but glad someone is talking about it.

Houston fans are very upset over refs missing thte out of bounds on Williams. I haven't seen conclusive video but many Rockets were right there watching the whole thing and you don't see one Rocket point to the sideline claiming Mo's foot was out of bounds. McHale himself (along with a couple of asst coaches) were right on top of the play and didn't say anything.

exactly! I read one of those houston forum threads about it, and they mention "I can't believe the Rockets bench didn't shout for him to be out of bounds?!" Well duh, they didn't see anything!

I can't stand reading everyone saying that they think we're better off without Mo. Yes, I hope we win by 30 tonight, but let's not forget that he saved our season with his steal and shot in Game 4.

One thing I always noticed about Mo...he didn't always shoot well but he hit BIG shots when we needed them. He has a knack for making those game changers and has throughout the season. Like him or not, he's been part of our success story this season

Yep. I believe he also led all bench players in the NBA in assists.

I agree. The team is going to miss him tonight. I know many in here don't feel the same way. But I think he will be missed. Damian and Wes both need their breathers. And he gave them that. Not so sure you cant trust The Thrill to do the same for them.

I asked in another thread and didn't get an answer. Have we won a game without Mo this year?

8-9 Shooting 24 points in 20 minutes played this series cant be wrong.

He's also one of those guys Poppovich stated "We haven't defended yet". They are going to adjust to him and when they do is he experienced enough to adjust with?

But with the adjustments made to cover him, will that leave other Blazer players with much better opportunities?
