Anyone know about the glass wall addition? IMO it's a small project that makes a big impact.

I think that that's a new bar area taking the place of a smoking patio.

That would be pretty dope, it's a great view of the city right there.

How about building shit around the Rose Garden? Novel idea.

I still don't understand going to get a beer and waiting in line for 45 minutes at one of the restaurants inside the arena. Too crowded. I just sit in my seat, much more relaxing.

building shit outside, or in, do you mean?

Around... meaning outside. I see where you got confused. lol. But make me have a reason to go around there on non event days... because most of the entertainment there is horrible except for very rare days where they actually have a good concert. And obviously, the Blazers.

gotcha. Yeah, I think the problem they always run into is the main draw is the Moda Center, and it seems like they've historically had issues with getting people to go to at least that restaurant right across from the RG, because there was no reason to be there.
I agree with you, though. Start extending the rose quarter into being one big area, along with the convention center, to draw more to the area.

Yeah. They have the room. Have a fun center for kids, a bullwinkles. I dont know... something. Because two blocks from there there is NOTHING but the max tracks...

The gimmicky fire and water crap isn't going to do it.

The 2035 Central City Plan shows that there are plans for the area. The Lloyd District today is on the verge of a building boom.
