I'm off on more holidays in September. Flying from Dublin to Sydney via Dubai for two lovely weeks. This is my first time going to Oz and I can't wait. Whats the weather like in September? Any good things on this time of year? Will I be able to watch any live cricket?

Well in September it generally rains in Melbourne so im not sure about Sydney. Temperature wise its about 23-25 in Melb and Sydneys always 2-3 degrees hotter.

As for cricket i think u might catch the start of the domestic season. Still some quality cricket played by the up and coming australian players.

Mate, you're going to the wrong place. Melbourne is where you're meant to go! Nah, Sydney is alright to go to for a holiday but not to live in. The domestic season should be just starting like 12th Man said up there so you can go to one of those games and watch the drunks, it's the best thing to do behind watch the game

If you like rugby league it'll be finals time and if you stay till October 1 you'll have the Grand Final to go to and you'll see Melbourne win that
