Seriously Borat was hilarious, and I really don't like those stupid humor movies. I think shows like The Office (British Version as well) are pretty dam funny. I just thought that Borat for what it was, was great. It wasn't tryin 2 be a sophisticated comedy, but just basically something 2 laugh at. There are underlying tones here and there, but it wasn't that deep at all.But for movies that aren't funny- Napoleon dynamite - Big Momma's House 2 -was forced 2 watch it :'( - Lil Man (people srsly thought that was funny)

I loved that "Butcher Shop" part at the beginning. I don't know why.

I found Borat more annoying than funny. Maybe if I saw it in the theater instead of watching it on dvd it wouldve been a little better but honestly I didnt understand why so many people were saying its one of the funniest movies. Most of those people just say it because one of their friends likes it so they say they like it to fit in. Same sh*t with Napolean Dynamite, a couple of people like it, so every1 else jumps on the bandwagon and claims its a great movie. Half the sh*t in Borat has been done before by the guys from jackass but with Borat a lot of it looks staged.

^^^That reminds me, I have never found any of the Jackass movies funny. I enjoyed a few episodes of the show, but geeze the movies were really retarded. I don't why, they just weren't as funny as some of the things they did in the show.

I haven't liked any of the newer Will Ferrel movies...so..Anchorman, Talladega Nights, Blades of Glory...even though my frineds are in love with this guy...I DO like Old School with Frank the Tank...but that was old.

Napoleon Dynamite originally wasn't a wide release film. So uh, yeah, it gained popularity because well, people liked it. I don't know why people are so hell-bent on making a big deal about it being a popular movie. If you can't see the humor in it, then that's your problem. Maybe if you guys didn't have such a hardon for being rebellious, you would be able to crack a smile now and again.I also can't understand why people liked Shrek. It's not a particularly funny or entertaining movie.

I know this is cliched but it would have been a very good 5-10 minute sketch, but was stretched out way too long.

I hate how people say movies are "too popular" so they aren't as funny...If the movie is funny, it's funny. You can't say it's not as good because alot of other people thought it was really funny as well.

^ Probably because people are stupid.And I watched Napoleon Dynamite when it first came out so HA. And all the kids in my class watched it because I told them to.

In a way Napoleon Dynamite suffers from that stigma of everyone quoting and acting like the main character ala Ace Ventura or Borat. I could see how it kills the movie for some people, annoyance after a while. But Yeah I agree, it's a crappy reason to not find a comedy funny.

I just don't watch a movie with that kind of mindset. I'd like to say that I've become a little bit more educated as far as movies go, but I have to admit there is room for opinion with basically every movie.

During the little dance scene the corner of my mouth rose a little bit in half a smile and that's all I got out of that.
