Saw Super Troopers 2. Not nearly as good as the first one. Still pretty funny.

"wasn't bad" - That's code for it stinks. I'll bet she was looking over your shoulder when you typed that.Kingsman was good.
Saw Pitch Perfect 2 last night, the gf wanted to watch it. It... wasn't bad.
Was dumb as expected. Still liked it some. Would have been better if I was drunkSaw Super Troopers 2. Not nearly as good as the first one. Still pretty funny.

I saw "The Jerk" yet again, about three or four weeks ago. Enjoyed it.My wife put on "all of me" with Steve Martin. lmao, again
Leave No Trace was good, not as amazing as reviews make it out to be, but I liked it.
I liked both Kingsmen movies but especially the first.I just watched "Kingsman" with Samuel L Jackson and Michael Caine and thought it was a great, entertaining action flick.
There are a few I want to see that are still out in theater such as Mad Max, Ant Man, The Entourage movie, etc...
A few I want to see which are out on Blu-Ray, but haven't gotten around to it.
How can it be that a movie is better than the book?Coming in late on this thread. I saw Leave No Trace with my son 3 or 4 weeks ago, and was pleasantly surprised. I read the book it was based on, My Abandonment, a few years back and hated the ending. The movie is MUCH better than the book (how often can you say that?). I kept waiting for the crappy ending that never happened. There were other changes, that made the movie better than the book, but I don't want to reveal any spoilers for anyone who may be planning to catch this on cable/Netflix when it comes out.
BNM
All of those movies have been good.I got what I expected out of Jurassic world. It was done really well, but it was pretty much a remake. I ducked into the Baghdad to watch it on a hot day a few weeks ago. Enjoyed it.

Yeah, that was good. The Martian was better than I expected. I'm not a big fan of Matt Damon, but I think he performed enjoyably well in this movie.
Some of his other movies I like: Good Will Hunting, The Talented Mr. Ripley, True Grit.
LOVED ITMaybe this should be in the girly stuff you do thread, but went a saw "A Star is Born" with Mrs. CC and it was damned good. Going to win some Oscars.
Looking forward to seeing that one myself.Maybe this should be in the girly stuff you do thread, but went a saw "A Star is Born" with Mrs. CC and it was damned good. Going to win some Oscars.

On my flights last week, I saw Creed (****), Lady Bird (***), Downsizing (**^), I Feel Pretty(**), The Italian Job (***^), Rampage (***), and Red Sparrow (***^).
I'm an easy grader.
Which Downsizing movie did you like best--the first half of it, which was actually about the idea of "getting small" and living in a big person's world, or the second half which was all about climate change and community activism?I have seen Downsizing. Good movie.

Movies which completely change their identity mid-film really frustrate me.
