I find no such news, only editorial conjectures that Mueller is attempting to coerce her to lie by offering a deal as he has done with others.
On top of that, like the other myriad of flips, the judge is going to approve of it.

Its pretty pathetic the lengths they will go to strongarm people to do their will.
Yes, yes, yes, and all the judges are corrupt Democrats. After all, all such plea deals involve a judge.

Aside from Putin, I i don’t think there are many other better people to prove or disprove collusion.

Dafuq you gonna talk about MSNBC when you post shit from FOX......?

He's posting stuff from Russia's state owned news agency.

Attorneys for jailed Maria Butina motivated by pure enthusiasm, says father

If the defence working on Maria’s case quit, it could result in a severe sentence, her father says

BARNAUL, December 6. /TASS/. It is just the enthusiasm that keeps attorneys for Maria Butina, arrested in the US, working on her case since they only receive a symbolic payment for their job, her father, Valery Butin, told TASS, voicing concern that there is no money left to pay for their services, meaning the attorneys could quit, leaving Maria without a defense.

"Millions of rubles (are needed). There was assistance from the Fund, established to support Maria, but it is not comparable with how much is needed. <...> The attorneys work out of enthusiasm simply because they are good people, they understand that the case is unfair in legal terms, which is an opportunity for them, and they could win the case. They work for free now, but they are hired, and it is unclear for how long their employer will allow them to do their job free of charge," Butin said.

According to him, the attorneys have received insignificant sums as payment, but it is not enough. Butin noted that if the defenders working on Maria’s case quit, it could result in a severe sentence.

"Ending up without a defense now poses a threat of being sentenced to up to 15 years, to be precise. The deadline for finding the money has long expired," he emphasized.

Butin also said that he had received a letter from the office of Russian Human Rights Commissioner, Tatyana Moskalkova, in which she asked the private sector to support Maria. Her father plans to use this document to appeal to businessmen for their assistance. At present, Maria is being housed in a separate cell, and it is not clear when this regime is going to be lifted.

Butina case
Maria Butina, who studied at American University in Washington, had been arrested on July 15 ahead of the Helsinki summit between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his US counterpart Donald Trump. The Russian gun rights activist is facing charges of conspiracy for conducting activities in the interests of a foreign state. Investigators claim that she was engaged in these activities without registering as a foreign agent at the US Department of Justice.

During a July 21 phone conversation with US Secretary of State Michael Pompeo, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov demanded a speedy release for Butina, having deemed the charges against her as fabricated.

I'm gonna be overjoyed to see Donald's son, aka junior, aka the Weasel, get his just reward. I think he's gonna see bars, just not the kind he was hoping to see.

Judgement Day is coming.

Senators are seeking information about Obama-era meetings between Treasury and Federal Reserve officials and Maria Butina, the alleged Russian agent who pleaded guilty to conspiring to influence U.S. policy.

The Senate Finance Committee’s Republican chairman, Sen. Chuck Grassley of Iowa, and top Democrat, Sen. Ron Wyden of Oregon, sent letters Friday requesting all records relating to 2015 meetings with Ms. Butina involving then-Fed Vice Chairman Stanley Fischer and Nathan Sheets, the Treasury Department’s assistant secretary for international affairs at the time.

The letters cited a Reuters report that said the officials met with Ms. Butina and Alexander Torshin, who was then the deputy governor of the Russian central bank, to discuss U.S.-Russia relations. Mr. Torshin has since been targeted by U.S. Treasury sanctions against several government officials and allies of President Vladimir Putin over what Washington called “destabilizing activities,” including seizing Crimea and menacing Ukraine.

“Given what is now known about them from public court filings, it is concerning that Ms. Butina and Mr. Torshin were able to gain access to high-level administration officials responsible for U.S. economic and monetary policy to reportedly discuss U.S. Russian economic relations,” Messrs. Grassley and Wyden wrote in letters to Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and Fed Chairman Jerome Powell.

The committee is requesting any records relating to the meetings, and any meetings between other officials at the two agencies and Ms. Butina or Mr. Torshin, or any meetings involving the Center for the National Interest, a Washington think tank that the senators said reportedly arranged the encounters with Messrs. Fischer and Sheets. The senators also asked for records of any communications Mr. Fischer and Mr. Sheets had with the Russians, and asked whether either official held a security clearance at the time of the meeting.

A Fed spokesman said the central bank had received the letter and would respond. A Treasury spokeswoman didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.

God damn this post is desperate.
If it said Trump instead of Obama would you say the same?

I agree in some ways that it sounds desperate and I mean asking for records pretty much means they dont know anything and its likely nothing ever comes from it. I read this and was like mmmkay.

As much as I dont like Trump some of the things that come out, that are “anti” Trump, come off as just as manufactured and desperate too.

Its similar to when guys like Quick say negative things about Neil Olshey’s moves and all the anti Neil guys (like me sometimes!) jump up and down and say oh we knew Paul George couldve been here but he wouldnt give up CJ! It sounds good and fits the narrative we want to tell so we jump on it!

Then a guy like Woj says something sort of pro Neil Olshey and the guys who are more favorable to him says see I told you he’s working hard! It is so easy to find the narrative we like best and jump on it, or quickly dismiss something because its not the story we want to tell.

Haha sorry Julius this turned into more or less a rant, not really aimed at you though I suppose the first question was a little, but not in a condemning, “you just dont want to believe Obama did anything wrong sort of way,” just a question.

You have the most fascinating fantasies.

We need to impeach Obama and strip him of his Kenyan citizenship.
Is it bad that I really wish we’d impeach Trump or just shut up about it and vote him out in a couple years, because Trump showing up on my news feed every freaking day and like 3/4th of the off topic posts in here being about Trump is soooo old.

Well, if someo always posts things that are obviously from a chain email, you get what you get.

I'm more of the type that would like him to just resign in disgrace and get back to doing what he really loves to do....sensationalized media spin ...I was fishing for trout this morning and the Chinese National Olympic track coach, trainer and physical therapist walked by on the trail where I was with my wife....I greeted them in Chinese and my wife and I talked with them for an hour....they are in Eugene because they hired the U of O's trainer to work with their team. They were friendly and interested in what we did and what Taiwan is like etc...then their gov't babysitter showed up and they got nervous about talking freely....the guy probably heard my wife talking about being Taiwanese. Choose the news...don't let it choose you. Almost all of the political partisan crap I don't want to read is posted here anyway. The internet like S2 gives me headlines...whether I click on them is my own choice...I go through long stretches and take a break from it. At this point I've seen enough of Trump's gang to be thoroughly disgusted with the lot. I am always grateful that we have a free press here ...China doesn't print anything that would rock the political boat ...we're lucky here

lol, Is that where the posts come from? Ive actually had the thought, “where is this coming from” on multiple occasions...
That said I still think like the rest of my post implied we all have to be a little careful to not just hear what we want to hear and dismiss everything we dont.
