Yes you are entirely correct. I should have said Chief law enforcement officer in our Federal Republic. The Constitution leaves the Sheriff in charge of their district
in the States. Not sure all States handle this the same, but it is a State issue.

He came into the race insulting and baiting everyone to the point of looking strangely suspicious..including his Putin love fest. It's not rocket science that due diligence is carried out...the investigation was about Russians...the Russians Trump asked on TV to find Hillary's emails...yeah...Trump bit this off and now has to chew on it. Fortunately we have these checks and balances...Mueller has done a commendable job compared to the Blow Job gate Bill Clinton went through

this is a blatant lie....I've claimed no such thing...he's never told a joke obvious or otherwise. There in fact was real evidence of Russian interference and still is. Trump was never under investigation for anything but obstruction concerning Comey..his team however was rotten to the core and you think that's a liberal's wet dream? Good luck with that...I'm eating popcorn and patiently waiting for the next chapter...you are sensationalizing..claims around here are coming from some folks for sure...those that want a divisive country...and the icing for your cake..not just team Trump is in the hot seat from this investigation.

Both being crimes isn’t enough to proclaim there are clear parallels between the two. Burglarizing a physical address ups the ante considerably. This mindset is what allows prosecutors to send whoever they want to prison for as long as they want. Aaron Schwartz, the cofounder of Reddit, was given information from scientific studies through a third party who never even wanted to press charges. When he began questioning the government publicly, suddenly the case got picked up at a federal level and he faced 30 years in prison. The 26 year old opted to hang himself in his apartment in lieu of having his life thrown away in a prison cell. But the law is the law I guess. Stealin’ Is stealin’. We could by all means start cutting off hands like our good friends, The Saudis.
 
From what I’ve heard on both sides and I don’t have a dog in this fight is that Meuller is and honest guy and would prosecute the Prez if eveidence was discovered in what he was asked to investigate.
Maybe he figures States can get him in cheating on his tax returns or some other crime?
Someone in the 2020 race needs to bring a positive American Pie message and gain the support of the voters.

It bothered me when he said it. You don't ask a foreign country to help you win an election joking or not.
