Im probably one of the biggest underground fans, and I love mainstream music. Take it for what it is...just someting you listen to...but dont listen to it too hard cause then youll be looking for good lyrics, when its just a hot beat with a clever hook.

I have no stereotype. A white kid who loves to rock out on Ozzy, RHCP, Hendrix, and Led Zeppelin.Yeah baby.

Some beats are just catchy and you can't help wanting to bop your head to it. Now your saying mainstream rap doesn't have a good music factor to it. Once again there's no such thing as good music and bad music. It's all about opinion and preference. Also are you saying now you hate all mainstream rap songs because if you think that then your just in denial. You can't just go from liking one type of music to truly hating it overnight. I mean I'm a huge underground/old school fan and easily prefer it over mainstream rap but I'm not gonna act like I hate all mainstream songs all of a sudden. Like I said some mainstream songs are just plain catchy and you can't help but like listening to it.

I don't mind if white people like rap or whatever, but if a white person comes up to me and says, "yo yo yo," "ah snap," "foo," "Yeah bra," etc. (or god forbid, "nigga") on a regular basis in a serious manner, then yeah, I probably would consider him to be a wigger. Some guys really think they are gangsta even though they're from suburbs.

haha. I from Castro Valley, ultra white suburb. Theres so many wiggers here. its just funny sometimes. I'm not originally from here.. I lived in a bad part of oakland for the first 12 years of my life. Luckily I moved to the suburbs, even tho I'm not rich at all. I dunno why people brag about being from the hood and whatever. I've had a gun pointed at me(well, not directly AT me, but basically at us as in me, sister, and mom.) We've been robbed. all this crap. Does that make me ghetto? no. not at all. I bet all those wiggers never even been NEAR a gun, and they front as if they the hardest gangbangers ever.

I live right next to Vallejo so it's not really suprising or anything that there's so many people that try to act all ghetto here. It's not really just white people. There's also tons of black, Asian, and Hispanic that act all ghetto even though they're really middle class. I'd say only about 10% he people that act ghetto at my school are actually from a bad area.

That really pisses me off. I dont care that people listen to different music than me because I used to listen and love all the mainstream rap until recently when I discovered underground rap thanks in part to everyone here who talked about it so much.

Right...It doesn't work like that bro.

It looks ridiculous on blacks as well but thats another story.

It sounded like he was trying to say he loved mainstream rap then one day he discovered underground and all of a sudden mainstream rap didn't appeal to him at all anymore.

There is no way to act ghetto, or black, or bougie, or white. Those labels are just a substitute for thinking. A way to establish that you're part of the bigger and therefore, more correct, group. It's weak. Wigger.Cats say I act white when I'm pumping my Pink Floyd, or the Doors, or Wham, or the Red Hot Chili Peppers. "You listen to that weirdo music. You act like a white boy."I'll put my white boy foot knee deep in yo ass. Just playing. I'm like, "Yeah, that's me." I just listen to my sh*t and let the haters bounce. Who needs em?When you accept the crap people say, they have trouble saying it again. They know it can't hurt you then.

I'm not black, white, or asian. I mostly listen to hip hop/rap. But I listen to whatever I like.

Most people do a parody of something, even if it's a role they don't know from experience.
