Mark Knopfler had a unique sound in that he was a finger picker...as was Lindsey Buckingham. Even my guy, Jeff Beck eventually threw away the pick.

If this ain't an All-star band, there never was one.

 
Live! Slap Bass solo @4:00! The bassist is Kim Stone who once played in Spyro Gyra. This album came out years ago and is still fresh today. My Brother and I saw them and they are/were a power house. Turnup your volume" especially at the bass solo. Enjoy!
