I saw them! Those were the days you went to a large non acoustical arena. You could see three quality bands for $12. I saw Deep Purple, Black Sabbath and Humble Pie for $12!!!! Mountain, Jo Jo Gunne and Savoy Brown. Those were "The Days" ......

One of the few groups I never got to see Hall & Oates. I did get to see Jimmy Buffett though in 1975 at Cal State Long Beach Bluegrass festival.
Leo Kottke opened the show, followed by Buffett with the headliner of Emmylou Harris and her Hot Band

One the high points of my life was attending a Ry Cooder show at the Roxy, and getting to say hello, and breathe the same air as this goddess.
You are sitting at a table near the exit with Ronnie Wood. Pictures never did her justice as beautiful as she was!!
