What a fucking piece of shit. Even banning established journalists. I'm done with Twitter.

Oh well. He's just going to run it into the ground and hurt his own brand.

Problem is, this will hurt SpaceX as well. And I really like what they've done. I hope they can figure out how to cut Musk out and still keep advancing at the same pace.
 
When Republicans put up their "Kanye Elon Trump" tweet, they were indeed three of a kind.
 
I asked the chatbot to write a limerick about Elon, and it's actually not bad:

There once was a man named Elon
Who bought Twitter for forty-four billion
But his ego got in the way
And he mismanaged the play
Now the site's in shambles, a miserable milion

He thought he could do it all alone
But he should have known
That Twitter's a tricky beast
And requires some finesse
Now it's a shadow of its former throne

You thought you could have some fun
But now the site's a mess
And your reputation, a stress
Maybe it's time to move on and let someone else have a run.

Yup, I've already decided that I'm ditching Starlink a.s.a.p....2 months after I got Starlink they not only raised the monthly rate by $20, my bandwidth went from 300 MBS to about 90 MBS and once Musk created the Twitter shit storm I decided enough is enough. Coincidently, fiber optic internet and TV is supposed to be available in my area next month.

So, for about $60 LESS than I'm currently paying for Starlink and DISH network, I can get the Conexon fiber optic internet/Direct TV bundle, which will net me 2000 MBS internet and the same TV channels I already have.
 
12/17 I just received a three-day restriction on my ability to follow. The follower limit rule sucks. I found out the mobile and Lap top apps are different, as I was punished on the Lap top account and got slapped with follower limit reached on my mobile. What!!?? Why????.

Probably within a certain time frame. A lot of spammers follow then unfollow later to get an artificially high follower account.

I can happily and proudly say I've never used twitter nor felt the need to have it around my life for anything...facebook I dumped 15 years or so ago....it's one thing to have friends but then "they" have friends and their friends have friends and pretty soon non of them are friends anymore....fuck that! I have a phone is I need to talk with a friend. Twitter was fake news, fake president and fake govt for 4 years....that didn't end well.
 
The douchebag, I mean musk, put up a poll asking if he should step down as CEO of Twitter (and says he will abide by the results, which we know he won't)

This type of opinion on social media always kind of cracks me up. I don’t follow one political person or account on Twitter at all. Or Instagram. So I never see any political ads or read anything political. I use Twitter for sports, movies, pop culture, that type of thing. That’s it.
If it wasn’t for Twitter, or Instagram, it would’ve been a lot harder for my daughter to get recruited to play college soccer. So I just look at it as a tool. Instagram I use for photography. I follow so many amazing photographers on Instagram. I love it. Have never seen political ads on there either.
As far as Facebook goes, my family uses it to stay in touch all over the world. I get to see my cousins kids and aunts and uncles. It’s fantastic. Never once have read a political ad on Facebook.

So when people look down or say things like, thank god I’m not on social media or you’d never catch me on there…..I just don’t quite get it.

People hate social media not because the people who use it the right way. They hate it because of half the country of fucking idiots who buy into fake bullshit QAnon crap that has ruined the country

you cut and paste these, right? You do you bro....I'm old school...my son got to college pretty much without using either Facebook or Twitterverse! I believe he was using that ancient thing called the post office or that new fangled email thingy.... I think it's ok for a phone to be a phone too so, there's that you young whippersnapper! I don't need to "follow" anybody. I can understand your job on the road how it helps
