People with four year degrees CANNOT FIND JOBS and you are willing to have them replaced by cheaper foreign workers because you are so blinded by political rage you can’t think straight. You and him are STILL refusing to address the issue I brought up of foreigners being payed cheaply for labor and undercutting Americans. Here in Canada, we literally just imported Indians on a fake student VISA campaign (most are young men from Punjab which is a largely agrarian part of India) and then let them bring their spouses and family members even if they're in basic undergraduate courses. It's led to the Trudeau government essentially collapsing, a mass political activation of the right wing in Canada, and completely eroded the general liberal attitude Canadians had towards immigration in under 4 years.

Trump totally flipped on this. In his usual fashion, he completely melts for anyone who kisses his ass. He has no defense against people who stroke his ego. He’s going into this term with a handful of positions I agree with (as opposed to zero from Democrats, that’s why I always shit on them and somehow get accused of loving Trump for it) but we stand to see how many of these “decent” policies actually stick. I don’t have a lot of faith to be honest.
Ouch. Abomination is pretty harsh. Anomaly maybe, but that doesn’t have to mean “bad” in any way. I have a few issues with the political ideologies around the matter, mostly pertaining to children, but at the end of the day I don’t care what anyone does as long as they aren’t being imposing, and that goes for any group. "Political rage" has absolutely NOTHING to do with it. We're talking about the reality. I too think strongly that the H-1B program is being thoroughly abused. But as a manger for 30 plus years who did a shit ton of hiring, it was plainly obvious that the quality/educational limitations of job candidates over the years was on a downward spiral. It's called "the shitty American Education System" that these corporations have help trash by their refusal to pay their fair share of the load. It's all about profits. Hell yes they'd rather lowball qualified immigrants than overpay Americans who can't keep up. They don't care who does the work as long as it is done correctly and as cheaply as possible. Did you ever stop to think that those people with four year degrees who can't find jobs aren't any good at what they majored in?? Some of the most ignorant and incompetent people I have known are college educated. It's way too easy and disingenuous to say these people are getting priced out. Successful companies hire the most qualified people, period. They would not be successful otherwise. I struggle to believe that your employer would replace you with a lower paid immigrant unless that immigrant could run rings around you. My last boss was a Chinese woman (immigrant) who made the previous three managers (all college educated) look like developmentally disabled morons. There is no reason Americans can’t be trained to do any job anyone else can do. Period. Companies don’t want to pay for it. Indians aren’t inherently smarter, harder working or come from a superior culture. They come from a shithole and are willing to work for nothing and greedy American companies are willing to fuck over Americans by exploiting that fact. And you are squirming trying to support this indentured servitude that fucks over Americans just to win an argument. Americans work more hours than any other country hands down, and built a country the rest of the world strives to through innovation. So no, you can’t just chalk it up to “lazy stupid Americans”. Have some faith in your country and its future.
