I have no idea what these statements mean ...

He didn't say he wouldn't talk to Isiah. He said he would not talk ABOUT Isiah because he had never spoken to him.

"He should know better that it's business ..." .....What does that mean ?

Did he do something wrong ? I don't see where.

He said he regretted leaving NY because he had built relationships with a couple of fellows there. Is that bad ?

Mutombo always whines when he leaves any team and he always has a problem with someone. I have nothing against mutombo but all he does is whine about calls on the court, so we shouldnt be suprised about his whining off the court. Isiah is trying to build a champion and he doesnt want an old creeky center past his prime at C...can you blame him? Move on Deke...cause we have

He whines, so does everyone else so it's not that big of deal. Old Dikembe has only got a year or two left in him. He shouldnt be mad he got traded its business like you guys said.

I think he has not been the same since he left philly. The last time he was a all star was with philly. He also won defensive player of the year. Then he got traded to the nets and had that injury. Got lost in the rotation and never was the same dominate or some form of dominate player he use to be.

I still think he plays great defense, but defense only gets you so far eventually you need some type of offensive game be it a post up game or something to get at least 10-12 points a night to be good. Mutombo cant post up or run the break to get points that way. He lost his hook shot after his wrist injury in NJ and was never the same.

It's just another NBA player that Isiah has apparently pissed off. With his brash attitude he has angried many other players over the years, which lead to him not being on the original dream team back in 92. I'm sure there would have been room for an Isiah with a better attitude. He's just got that permanent chip on his shoulder.

Wasnt that because jordan didnt want him there though? I have heard so many rumors about stuff that went on inside the locker rooms about isiah telling the guys not to pass the ball to jordan his first all star game and about jordan being the disiding factor in why isiah wasnt on the dream team. Anyway isiah looks calm and cool, but his way of working is way to much like that of a back stabber you never know if you can trust him. The perfect way to be a gm.

Well I can't remember Jordan and Isiah ever getting along at all, but I thought it was just a good old fashioned "competition thing". Both of them wanted to win at all costs, which was fun to watch. I think even if there wasn't other issues, that Isiah wasn't a guaranteed lock to be on that 1992 team. He wasn't better than Magic or Stockton and how many point guards does a team need? If Magic had stayed retired I would have definately given that spot to Isiah, hands down. I would have actually given Christian Laetner's spot to Isiah, but USA basketball always seems to want to put a kid on their teams. As far as Isiah's current position goes, a monkey could do the same job. He is basically a front man for the richest basketball team in the league, and all he does is throw big money around to get big names into the city. I don't think the Knicks are building a championship, I think they are building a good show to watch.
